While you might be understandably
afraid of getting a credit card after bankruptcy, learning from your mistakes and using credit responsibly in the future is the name of the game.
Knowing this can help you choose a card with the lowest possible interest rate, and make better financial choices to improve the likelihood
of getting a credit card with a favorable interest rate.
Anything you can do to improve your credit score should increase your chances
of getting your credit card application for a regular, unsecured credit card approved — possibly by the same bank that issued your secured credit card.
If, like most students, you have a limited credit history, you'll likely have the best chances
of getting a credit card if you choose a student credit card from an understanding issuer.
So, I'm pretty much done with applying Chase cards and luckily, I took full
advantage of getting both credit card signups for the Sapphire Preferred (50K bonus UR) and Reserve (100K bonus UR) before Chase changed their rules.
One note: If you're
thinking of getting a credit card in the hopes of taking advantage of the bonus miles, allow three or four months at least to meet the minimum spend and allow the miles to post.

of getting credit cards are high if you have a stable income or have been maintaining a high balance in the bank.
