o.t does anybody on here honestly think we might try and make a move for klopp this summer are the board that aggressive enough to make the decision also wenger has not come out straight away to denied that klopp is coming to arsenal he just batted the question away in the press conference yesterday this makes me wonder if wenger is going to sit down with the board and have a chat to see what is the
best way forward for the club (maybe moving upstairs to the boardroom so he doesn't have to break his contract) i am sure if certain members
of the board saw this as a prime opportunity to move the club forward post wenger we will see what will happen this might be the only chance to get him as we might not be any decent
manager around when wenger does retire we would probably end up with martinez instead realistically who do you think we would end up with in 2 yrs time options will be more limited me thinks and we wil have missed the boat
better make it count this time coyg
Alexis came with a
good spirit, seing Ozil on board, thinking a team would be built
around them but year after year, it is no top class addition with a guessing game plan, weakness all over the pitch, players out
of position, a team scared to play and lost as
manager... Sanchez then started to ask more money, we said no as to Ozil; waiting 6 month later to be on last year contract... The all management is nuts and Alexis or any players try until they get fed up, Ozil plays to get fit for wrld cup and his value back...
strategy???????? B **** S *** the truth is that in this man deluded mind and his gigantic ego adding senility and arrogance
of a has been he wanted to teach Sanchez a lesson how he could beat Fool without him but
of course it backfired and the lesson was all the way
around...... Sanchez showed that unfortunately for us the Fans our team lacks everything we are no
better than a mid table team no leadership, lack
of character, clueless all this on top that our
Manager lost it.....

Besides several teams who have questions surrounding one or possibly two players, there is no squad that has so many issues heading into the final week
of the transfer window... even Monaco, who have lost numerous players from their starting 11 have less controversy swirling in and
around their club and they have champion's league play to contend with this season... just think
of how ridiculous this situation is especially considering that we have had the same
manager for over 20 years... no team should be
better organized than ours... if nothing else, that should be the one advantage this team holds over all others, yet the exact opposite has occurred... this fact is even more disturbing considering the main argument against removing Wenger from his managerial position was that there was no suitable replacement and that people feared some sort

No one ever said Wenger ain't a genius. It's just that somehow he's lost that kind
of strong character and winners mentality. That's what has made Arsenal trophyless in terms
of major trophies. He needs to check that. Also you were a bit harsh on other fans.I urge you to see the reason behind Arsenal's failure. As Wenger himself said:» The
manager is the most important person in the club.If not then why do you sack him if things are not going
well» He said this when he was with Alex Ferguson in an interview
around 2008.

now we are putting all our eggs in the miki basket by signing auba hoping to recreate the dortmund connnection, Auba a player
better than laca but so similar it makes no sense spending that amount
of money especially with all the cracks in the team, but hey lets do that and get rid
of giroud our only option B upfront to accomodate miki a player who is 29 and at the lowest point
of his career, building a team
around him shows me that sad state we our in, we take what we are given and try to make the
best of the situation and that's all
of us from the board to the
manager to the players all the way down to the fans.
there is no doubting that Arsene has helped to provide us with some incredible footballing moments in the formative years
of his managerial career at Arsenal, but that certainly doesn't and shouldn't mean that he has earned the right to decide when and how he should leave this club... there have been numerous
managers at each
of the biggest clubs in Europe throughout the last decade who have waged far more successful campaigns than ours yet somehow and someway each were given their walking papers because they failed to meet the standards laid out by the hierarchy
of their respective clubs...
of course that doesn't mean that clubs should simply follow the lead
of others, especially if clubs
of note have become too reactionary when it comes to issues
of termination, for whatever reasons, but there should be some logical discourse when it comes to the setting
of parameters for a changing
of the guard... in the case
of Arsenal, this sort
of discourse was largely stifled when the higher - ups devised their sinister plan on the eve
of our move to the Emirates... by giving Wenger a free pass due to supposed financial constraints he, unwittingly or not, set the bar too low... it reminds me
of a landlord who says he will only rent to «professional people» to maintain a certain standard then does a complete about face when the market is lean and vacancies are up... for those who rented under the original mandate they
of course feel cheated but there is little they can do, except move on, especially if the landlord clearly cares more about profitability than keeping their word... unfortunately for the lifelong fans
of a football club it's not so easy to switch allegiances and frankly why should they, in most cases we have been
around far longer than them... so how does one deal with such an untenable situation... do you simply shut - up and hope for the
best, do you place the
best interests
of those with only self - serving agendas above the collective and pray that karma eventually catches up with them, do you run away with your tail between your legs and only return when things have ultimately changed, do you keep trying to find silver linings to justify your very existence, do you lower your expectations by convincing yourself it could be worse or do you stand up for what you believe in by holding people accountable for their actions, especially when every fiber
of your being tells you that something is rotten in the state
of Denmark
I'm one

The opinion
of most football fans
around the world these days is that Mauricio Pochettino is the
best manager in the world
of football.
for shore he has won more trophies then any
manager in the EPL is because his been there for 21 years and other
managers the
best of them been
around for just few years not decades
part
of that is an owner and board who put their profits way above the performance
of the team but it is also a
manager who conforms to the wishes
of the board (and for all I know may have an ownership stake as
well) by putting their short term interests above the long term performance
of the team as a result the team itself has become corrupted by the regime through insufficient investment in upgrading the team (all the more damaging as the environment in which the team operates has become increasingly competitive) with ocassional panic acquisitions to meet minimal (but ever diminishing) performance targets to keep fans on board the result is a massively unbalanced team
of overpaid compliant players who have been
around for too long, inexperienced (and also overpaid) young players who have not cost the club much (or anything) and small islands
of quality players..
like I said before it doesn't matter who is the
manager it starts from the top
of the board has to go if we have a strong Like I said before it doesn't matter who is the
manager it starts from the top board has to go if we have a strong Board Who is pushing the
manager then we'll have a chance Wenger is a
good manager but if we have a board he's not interested in winning things you know the answer to that do you remember when Dean was in charge Wenger was
around then we won everything The board is destroying Wenger and Arsenal football club American doesn't give a toss about AFC if we put pressure on the board then they might start spending a bit
of money or Selecor hopefully I'm glad we lost today because I think it will go to the board maybe get the stupid American to spend a bit more money
Not at all. Most who want Wenger out recognise quite clearly the job thenewManager has is not easy.Wenger has allowed complete apathy to set in
around the whole club so whoever is appointed will have work to do before we can even dream
of being title contenders. You come across as a very typical Wenger lover who knows his time is up and is almost wanting the new
Manager to fail.Guess what? The fanbase are not easily fooled but will accept a transition as long as we progress. We still have the core
of very very
good players who are more than capable
of being competitive in this league and with the right additions we can be a force. But we need a
Manager who MANAGES AND COACHES THE TEAM.This is clearly beyond Wenger and has been for too long now.It is quite clearly shown by our current league position
of SIXTH.And yet you still continue to accept this. The Club needs to raise its expectation levels or else even mediocrity will be beyond us.
He would be a
good start and once he is back working for us we can look to create extra roles
around him to compliment the background support for the
managers of the future.
August can be a cruel month... What now... It is absolutely clear we don't have a team or squad to compete with
best teams in Europe... That can't be repaired in last 6 days
of a transfer window... IMO it can't be done under current leadership for reasons have been saying for 3 years... But what can be done realistically... To begin with ox and gab have to start... This is so blatant and so doable I think it's fair to say that a
manager who doesn't do this should not be in the job come Xmas... Who should go... Wenger has done a half way decent job here in clearing out deadwood And Campbell may still go... Flamini still
around is shocking management....
Wenger shouldn't be in charge
of the coaching anymore, now that Gazidis is finally acting to break up the
managers role then now is the time to look at pinching the
best coaches from
around the world and giving them direct responsibility for coaching players.
Wilshere needs another
manager to improve... I have a lot
of time for him but he stands
around too much waiting for ball whereas before he used to hunt for the ball... but whatever happens we are 6 players short
of a quality team... years
of penny pinching and over indulging crap players by a clueless
manager who is a legend in his own mind... people go on about guardiolas spending in the summer but the team we are now watching play the
best football in epl history only has 2 new additions from last year Emerson and walker... I guess mendy would start if fit... we have 2 new players too but we are further behind than ever!!
The jet - heeled England international is incredibly highly thought
of all
around the world, including by
manager Brendan Rodgers, who branded him the
best young footballer in Europe last April, following Liverpool's 3 - 2 win against Norwich.
But he scored home and away against Roma, and he stands as proof
of one
of the oldest adages
around: if you find that your squad's a mess, your
manager's inadequate and his replacement's a novice, it's very helpful to have somebody who's very
good at kicking the ball in the net.
With all due respect to Arsene who is our club legend and is still under contract but should our club pass on signing one
