Normally a pound of ground turkey doesn't go very far for my hungry family of 5.

did... except that I used
ground turkey, in an attempt at Indian - chili - a-la-Sally..
I'm wondering if anyone used a different type
of ground meat, instead
of turkey, and how
did it turn out?
With the lower fat content
of the
ground turkey, we need to make sure they don't stick to the grill grates.
I
did however use beef instead
of turkey, just because we don't like the taste
of ground poultry

do increase the amount
of meat and use 1 pound
of 93 % lean

If you're paleo and / or don't eat legumes, I would recommend substituting two pounds
of ground grass - fed beef or

do) 1 medium yellow onion, diced very small 6 garlic cloves, minced 1 cup
of chopped spinach leaves (I used baby spinach leaves) 1/4 teaspoon

of low sodium soy sauce, Sriracha sauce or other hot sauce that you love or Worcheshire sauce 1 tablespoon
of Italian Seasoning 1 teaspoon
of Oregano Salt and Pepper 1 tablespoon
of flaxseed meal 1 egg, beaten

did make were because
of what I had on hand, white onions instead
of red and green onions, and

turkey burger, pulled pork, chicken thighs,
ground buffalo), roasted veggies and sometimes a sweet potato or butternut squash Snack: apple with almond butter or a handful
of macadamia nuts Dinner: A large salad with all kinds
of raw veggies (cucumber, celery, carrots, cauliflower), avocado or olives, usually a lighter protein like grilled chicken breast, salmon or shrimp This would represent a full menu... I would say I hit this about 4 - 5 days a week, other days I may omit the snack or keep the snack and omit a meal, if i
do that though I would add a bit
of protein with it.
This
does include the Kroger meat and cheese sales ($ 1.99 / lb
ground turkey and $ 0.99 / lb cheese
of which we got 4 each) for the boy's burritos, along with some tofu, plain Greek yogurt that we use instead
of sour cream, and oodles
of veggies.

ground meat like loose sausage, pork, beef,
turkey, or chicken will
do you well: It cooks up in no time, and can take on just about any spice you want to add to it.
There are two keys to keep
ground turkey burger patties juicy and moist: 1) Use combination
of dark and white meats: I don't use all white meat for burgers but but combination
of dark and white freshly
ground turkey.
I haven't tested the recipe with an egg but if you're not opposed to adding more fat (which adding an egg will
do) then try using
ground dark meat
turkey instead
of breast.
You can also use
ground turkey in place
of beef but I have an aversion to
ground turkey so don't look to see me
doing that here.
All you need is some
ground turkey along with some staple veggies, a pinch
of coconut flour and oil, and you're
done.

of water each day From January to march, I watched my calorie intake and
did 30 min
of cardio 7 days / week.
The
turkey complimented the feta cheese just as well (if not better) than the
ground beef, and I didn't notice a bit
of difference in the full - fat versus the fat - free feta once it was cooked into the burger.
