Hi Ella, just had another go at making these with the correct amount of bicarb and smaller chocolate chips and they came out perfectly this time (still didn't take as long as 20 minutes to cook but maybe my oven runs a little on the hot side if you know what I mean).

I'd LOVE come of this hot chocolate but I don't think I could take the heat.

Take graham crackers and lay on cookie sheet, add crunchy peanut butter, then cover with mini-marshmallows, then sprinkle with a few chocolate chips — OR red hot candy (as the original recipe had red - hots instead of chocolate chips).

p.s. my favorite thing about fall is taking a walk on those cool, brisk days then coming home to a warm cup of apple cider or hot chocolate

The soft glow of the tree in the corner, and the cute decorations, not to mention the delicious Christmas - y smells... I just love curling up on the couch with a cup of hot chocolate and taking it all in.

I took inspiration from «I Quit Sugar's — Choc Chip Hot Cross Buns» recipe and decided to make a similar version with slightly different ingredients and of course, minus the chocolate.
