Here, I have it prepared simply: oil, a spoonful
of hot curry powder, and cauliflower florets, sautéed until done, but still crisp.
You're probably well aware of the taste
of hot curry powder.
To get the right flavor profile for Scharf Currywurst, you also need to garnish with a good sprinkling
of hot curry powder.

You can use any
curry powder of your choice so long as you like the flavour
of the blend also, remember that some
curry powders are really
hot (spicy).
Whew... I don't know if perhaps my
curry powder was a little
hotter than most have used but I probably could've used 1 tbsp instead
of 2.
Once the oil was
hot, I sauteed a diced onion, two tablespoons
of chopped cilantro, about an inch
of sliced lemongrass, two cloves
of minced garlic, and one teaspoon each
of turmeric,
curry, ginger
powder, and cumin.
We've kept the
curry seasoning mild so the recipe will be kid friendly, but you can always boost the flavoring
of the squash by using more (or a
hotter)
curry powder.
To give it a kick, I stirred in just a bit
of hot madras
curry powder.
Other versions may include a wide variety
of added foods and seasoning, such as chopped green onions (spring onions), chutney,
curry powder,
hot sauce, olives, garlic, cheese, horseradish, capers, sour cream, spinach, smoked salmon, caviar, or other seafood.
Add pesto, sun - dried tomatoes, garlic,
hot sauce or
curry powder to make gourmet versions
of healthier mayonnaise.
Slice them (stems and all), then quickly sauté them in a pan with coconut oil,
hot madras
curry powder and a splash
of coconut milk.
