This blog is a Philosophical exploration

The sense that Freud gives
of human existence as essentially lonely, and spiritually if not physically painful, is something shared by his great contemporaries, Francis Bacon and the sculptor Alberto Giacometti.
In his artist statement Skarbakka references philosopher Martin Heidegger's description
of human existence as a process of perpetual falling, and the responsibility of each person to catch ourselves from our own uncertainty.
It is about listening and talking, about toil and play, but above all these texts also reflect the uncertainty
of human existence as played out in language or within power relations.
On an ontological level, process thought suggests that this experience
of human existence as relational is not an exception to all other forms of existence, but is an exemplification of what existence is about.
But God's own self - sacrifice is itself the criterion
of human existence as well, ans in our imitation of God's own self - emptying, we would discover our own proper limits.
They see religion particularly at work in the endeavor to bring about such changes in the total structure
of human existence as will transform this world into one in which everyone may develop a rich and good and happy life.
The same could be said for personal existence and, indeed, for axial existence in general, or of civilized existence, or, before that,
of human existence as such.
Even within the coming century, they say, we could be facing the end
of human existence as we know it.
But the description of man as a rational or intellectual animal, familiar in the Middle Ages, is dangerous unless full recognition is also given to the feeling - tones which are as much a part
of human existence as is human rationality.
And we have an interpretation
of human existence as a movement toward love, accepted willingly or rejected selfishly with the inevitable consequences of human fulfillment or nonfulfillment.
Every people has its culture, whether primitive or advanced, and this culture is discerned in the folkways and moral standards, forms of family life, economic enterprises, laws and modes of dealing with lawbreakers, forms of recreation, religion, art, education, science, and philosophy that constitute the social aspects
of human existence as contrasted with the bare biological fact of living.
It is the overarching meta purpose as in the purpose
of human existence as opposed to an individual self created self bestowed purpose of life (such as caring for ones family) that I was musing about.

Maybe the Bible is a total
human invention and God, should he exist, created the universe just
as science sees it, leaving zero trace
of his
existence?
LOL: The Christian perspective is that God does indeed exist, and because
of that, all
human beings (including the ones who deny His very
existence) are still endowed with some
of the gifts He's given us — such
as some capacity to reason, create, and love, though all imperfectly.
To describe a work

Concepts such
as «state» and «society» and «government» have no

Most importantly, note this: I am a Christian, I'm gay, I'm a recovering alcoholic, I believe in Evolution, I believe the universe is 13 billion years old and that the Earth is 4.5 or so billion years old, I believe man evolved from lower primates and that Adam was the first man who God gave a soul and sentience, I do not believe in hell but I do believe in Satan, I do not believe the Bible is a book
of rules meant to imprison man or condemn him but that it is rather a «
Human Existence for Dummies» guide, I believe Christ was the son
of God but I do not believe Christianity is the only «valid» religion, I do not believe atheists will go to hell, while the English Bible says God should be feared, the Hebrew word used for fear, «yara», such
as that used in the Book
of Job, actually means respect / reverence, not fear
as one would fear death or a spider.
Assuming it was Christianity, it ameliorated many
of the harsh realities
of human existence, such
as your own death, the death
of a loved one, injustice, feelings
of being at the mercy
of the forces
of nature, and so on, gave you answers to questions about life, and so on.
If, to the contrary, the difference between
humans and some sub-
humans were slight (if, for instance,
humans were only slightly superior to nonhuman primates, so that
human existence were a species belonging to what we now call the nonhuman animal world), it would not be clear that the appearance
of humans represents the maximal importance
of subhuman
existence as such.
And he further commends
as «the essential characteristic
of human existence... «that man is an individual and
as such is at once himself and the whole race, in such wise that the whole race has part in the individual, and the individual has part in the whole race» (CD 26).
But the extent to which
human existence depends upon a natural order
of «societies, harmoniously requiring each other» has recently become all the more apparent
as the accumulated effects
of industry, technology, and population growth have presented major «environmental» problems (see CC).
The emphasis has characteristically been on «a theology
of the infinite» — an inquiry into the identity and
existence of divine beings, divine activity in history and nature, the purpose and destiny
of human life

as to maximize the possibilities
of happiness.

of The Fall thus explains the death
of Jesus in light
of an inherent
human guilt: it was just

as the product

I also believe that, in spite
of Whitehead's reluctance to concede privileged status to
human occasions
of experience, the introduction
of the wide range
of conscious anticipation
of the future which humanity represents in comparison to lesser types
of existence also introduces justice
as a characteristic
of the specially
human aim at harmonious beauty.

The revelational rap against apologetic theology is that it either engages in a sellout to the «world» (the self - disclosure
of God being so utterly relativized by
human wisdom that Christians are unable to tell atheists anything that they don't already know), or it is an exercise in various intellectual imperialisms, such
as: «We can prove the
existence of God» or «If
human culture really understood itself, it would find that it is striving toward that which we already have.»

Even the noble king could perceive the difficulty
of such a method, for he was not without insight into the
human heart, and understood that the maiden was at bottom deceived; and no one is so terribly deceived
as he who does not himself suspect it, but is
as if enchanted by a change in the outward habiliments
of his

While a definition

In every community and in every age verbal formulas need to be critically examined and reinterpreted, through dialogue and fresh experience, in order that their power
as bearers

Hence authentic
human existence could be understood
as culminating in faith, the movement

According to catholic teaching, the
existence of hell,
of a state
of eternal damnation, is an article
of faith (
as indeed, given free will and evil, it is a logical necessity); but that some
human beings are or will be in fact damned is not an article
of faith (though again logically it must be regarded
as a possibility): hence Pere Teilhard's prayer further on in this passage.
You,
as a

God is evolution in His process
of will implementation, humanity change in this process but not necesarily aware because our
existence is very limited in time.and we are not
as individual the ultimate objective, but God himself, Our
existence is just part
of the process for Him to become Himself in the future. We exist only in our time
of existence. From pure Energy which is Him 13.7 billion years ago, to us
humans 200,000 years ago, to what we are now today, to super
humans in the future, to what He will be in the far Future.THE ULTIMATE HIMSELF Is the objetive, you are just part
of the process you IDIOT.
In Romans, Barth said that the Word

And just
as that kingly grief
of which we have spoken can be found only in a kingly soul, and is not even named in the language
of the multitude
of men, so the entire
human language is so selfish that it refuses even to suspect the

Unfortunately, some defenders
of theism in the eighteenth century wedded themselves to this view
of the complex machine and its maker and associated it with the view that such special forms

existence fully formed in an aboriginal creation.
«The experience
of absolute control over another being,
of omnipotence so far
as he, she or it is concerned, creates the illusion
of transcending the limitations
of human existence, particularly for those whose lives are deprived
of productivity and joy.
Underlying this erroneous tendency,
as Faith has pointed out many times over the last forty years, is the implicit or explicit denial
of the transcendence
of God, the Divinity
of Christ, the historical objectivity
of revelation and the authority
of the Church in matters
of faith and morals, and also the denial
of the spiritual soul
as a principle
of existence that is distinct from yet integrates the material within the unity
of our
human nature.
