of hummus as a condiment, the spread in a sandwich, or a dip for raw veggies and pita bread.

One staple you'll almost always be able to find in our fridge is a pot
of hummus as it's such a great all rounder.
I always thought
of hummus as a chickpea spread, but no.
I love the idea
of hummus as a bed for all those lovely veggies.

of hummus as a dessert item until I came across brownie batter hummus at my grocery store.

I made a goal this month to eat more veggies, especially raw ones, so I've been taking a baggie
of sliced carrots, celery, and baby cucumbers to dip in
hummus (Oasis roasted garlic with hot sauce)
as a snack.
Consider using some

As someone who doesn't feel well after eating legumes like chickpeas, I'm thrilled to have discovered this crowd - pleasing, bean - free version
of hummus.

I love the versatility
of hummus too — I love it
as a healthy sandwich spread or spread in wraps or a veggie dip.
I would eat
hummus and pita
as a snack nearly every day in college, I would go through several containers
of hummus every week, and I would even make
hummus and cheese sandwiches in law school.
I highly recommend serving these falafel patties with
hummus, tzatziki, fresh vegetables like tomatoes, cucumber and radish
as well
as a ton
of greens and herbs like fresh parsley, mint and lettuce.
Oh this is a great post
as it is our go - to lunch at home — wraps with lots
of veggie goodness and mountains
of hummus!

I'm a travel nurse working, at the moment, in corrections, so when I read the
hummus revelation i was on break and nowhere near a kitchen... but...
as luck would have it, there were CHICKPEAS on a sort
of thrown together salad the prison kitchen whipped up... You can imagine the looks and eye rolls when i was seen carefully separating the little chick peas and experimentally peeling them with thumb and two fingers.
Yet, some
of the snacks, such
as the roasted beet
hummus and the cherry - date oat bars have those ingredients in them and the plan says you can eat the snacks throughout the plan.
As serving recommendation, please try serving your
hummus (or baba ghannoush) with a little pile
of chopped ripe tomatoes and fresh chopped flat leaf parsley in the middle (in addition to a good sprinkle
of quality olive oil).
I love using this recipe
as the base
of hummus tortilla pizzas and sandwiches, but it also makes an excellent appetizer dip served with fresh veggies and pita chips!
This is what I started doing when I don't have a food processor handy and I am craving
hummus — It doesn't turn out
as deliciously smooth
as here,
of course, but it does taste quite nice.
