of those
diapers that require a lot
of fiddle farting for the perfect fit, and that's AWESOME.
Marketing itself as the solution to the poopy
diaper conundrum; (disposable
diapers are filling up the landfills and cloth
diapers uses lots
of water) gdiaper is the
hybrid of the two.
Other products include reusable wipes, inserts that work with every
diaper,
hybrid fitteds, stretchy hemp flats and a huge selection
of custom made children's clothing.
No
diaper is perfect, and while I love using the Omaïki Cabriö
Hybrid cloth
diaper, and I am ordering more
of my favourite NEW prints this week, there are a few things I think would make the Omaïki Cabriö
Hybrid just a little better.
Cloth
diapers come in a variety
of different forms from all - in - ones, to pockets, prefolds, fitted and
hybrid diapers.
If you are thinking about using cloth
diapers but afraid it won't be possible with your lifestyle 100 %
of the time, you may consider using
hybrid cloth
diapers.
Their insert is not as thick as some other
hybrid fitted makers, which results in a trim
diaper when you don't need all
of the absorbency.
Some

This is similar to some
of the handmade
hybrid fitted
diapers I own that feature detachable snake - style soakers, but is much quicker than most
of the fitteds I have purchased from cloth
diaper retailers (Tots Bots, Eco-Posh, Cloth - Eez, Nicki's Bamboo, etc).
The Flip
Diaper System is a
hybrid cloth
diapering option that includes a one - size cover and three types
of inserts: stay - dry, organic or disposable.
There is a layer
of poly fleece hidden between, which is what makes it a
hybrid: you can leave it on baby without a cover for a while because that fleece will help the
diaper absorb to it's full potential before the outside feels wet.

With a
hybrid diaper, you lose many
of what I consider the most important advantages
of cloth: no chemicals on your baby's skin, no messy or smelly trash, fewer leaks and blowouts.
I was initially confused by this layer
of polyester fleece since I didn't understand why polyester fleece functioned differently in
hybrid fitted
diapers than it did in stay - dry pocket
diapers.
Some companies that make night - time
hybrid fitted
diapers do so without a printed cotton outer, and use a heavier weight polyester fleece fabric as the outside layer
of the
diaper.
It's probably good for my bank account that I haven't ventured too far into the world
of hybrid fitted
diaper brands yet.
The polyester fleece in
hybrid fitteds increases the effectiveness
of the
diaper's insert (soaker).

diapers water resistant.
In pure EC you might still use a
diaper back - up, in
hybrid EC / PT you would ditch
diapers after the 1 - 2 days
of naked observation and teaching time IF you feel like it, yet with the PT book plan, it is cold turkey (and WAY better for the child IF you're still having that resistance stuff and standing and whatnot when the time comes).
If you love the convenience
of all - in - ones but your little one's bottom is sensitive to moisture,
hybrid fitted
diapers might be the breathable, trim & absorbent solution you are looking for.
With a

diaper, there's a hidden layer
of fleece added into the outer layers
of the
diaper.
A
hybrid diaper marries the reusability
of a cloth
diaper with the convenience
of a disposable insert.
What resulted was a hodgepodge
of work - at - home mama
diapers,
hybrids, all - in - ones, pockets, fitteds, wools, flats, prefolds, covers.
My mind was boggled by the claims
of all this
diaper system can be: All - in - three, all - in - two, universal cover, pocket and a
hybrid system!

diapers are discarded after a single use, usage
of disposable
diapers increases the burden on landfill sites, and increased environmental awareness has led to a growth in campaigns for parents to use reusable alternatives such as cloth or
hybrid diapers.
If you are really hesitant or wary
of using cloth
diapers (especially when its an issue
of convenience, and questions
of using them while out - and - about, having to carry a wet bag, like some mentioned was a concern)... you can always try a
HYBRID diaper.
