Shirley Morales is the founder of ltd los angeles and the Hollywood Hills House, comprised
of an International Artists Residency (2001 - 2009) and the on going Under the Sign Flag Project.
In the last year she has taken part in a number
of international artists residencies, at Burlington City Arts, Vermont (Seven Below Arts Iniative), the Texas A&M University in College Station, and the School of Art, Australian National University in Canberra.
Over the last two decades Gasworks has worked with over 250 artists from 70 countries around the world.The archive and networks
of the international artist residency programme at Gasworks will form the basis of a fieldwork study, from which a curatorial research project will be established and result in a number of public interactions and engagements, through panel discussions, events, exhibitions, publications and online forums.
The decision will be based on the portfolio, the artworks showed at MAM - Rio's exhibition, on the amount of the prize to be received and the relevancy

Nanou is a Belgian
artist based in Melbourne whose work techniques and subject matter are inspired by
international art
residencies and her personal experience
of migration.
Though small (Grachos believes only one or two
artists would be able to occupy the buildings dedicated to the
residency and studio space), it is a step that mirrors Driscoll's original ambitions
of bringing an
international creative community to Laguna Gloria and providing it a place to flourish.
The exhibition, which runs from May 5th until May 23rd, forms a brand new series
