At CES we informed our visitors not only about the technical features
of jetBook Color, which is available to order, but also about the educational project in Russia, where the devices are intended to replace paper textbooks in the long run.
For me however, the most impressive feature

The $ 99 price tag and eight bright color choices the
jetBook Mini comes in may catch the eye
of someone looking for a budget ebook reader, but if you aren't careful and don't do your research before buying you're probably going to end up with a $ 99 paperweight.
The
jetBook Mini is starting to show up for sale on several retail websites (even in packs
of 10 in some cases), but there are a few important details that consumers need to know about this device before ever considering buying it.
That leaves the
jetBook Mini severely hampered in the ebook department — a core purpose
of an ebook reader, I'm afraid.
The Kobo WiFi is the first E Ink ereader priced under $ 100 but there are a number
of LCD - based ereaders under $ 100 today, including monochrome ereaders like the Aluratek Libre and Ectaco
jetBook.
This one, called the ECTACO
jetbook, seems to be specifically geared toward users in Poland and Russia, and supports the basic formats that most

of the less expensive Ectaco
jetBook Lite, except instead
of a hump for replaceable AA batteries, there's a small, tapered rectangular mound on the back for housing the device's built - in rechargeable lithium battery.
Readers can choose either English or French for their displays, not the United Nations
of languages available on the
jetBook Lite.
And there appears to be no way to change, add or remove any
of the preassigned folders in the
jetBook Lite's internal file manager.

jetBook Lite's monochrome screen is the smallest and has the lowest resolution

jetBook, a reading device capable
of handling.
