Processed foods are a big no no, legumes such as beans and peanuts, dairy, any sort
of fast food or
junk food like candies, cakes and definitely Burger King, and anything with refined sugar or artificial

I understand conventional brands that are loaded with extra
junk ingredients but what about some
of the more reputable brands
of deli meats with minimal
ingredients such as applegate and others?
I will say no it is so full
of refined sugars, chemicals, gmos, fake
ingredients, and dyes I don't want to eat that
junk.
I still think both
of these are excellent bars, and use almost solely organic, raw, natural
ingredients without any soy protein, HFCS, artificial sweeteners, or other
junk.
However, around the beginning
of 2012, that brand that I had loved so much since 1995, the one that had given my skin just the perfect moisture and made it look flawless all
of a sudden got the brilliant idea to change their
ingredients and started using
junk ingredients like hydrogenated oils instead
of all natural oils which they had been using ever since I was a customer (this company it seems was bought out by another company who also bought a few other «all natural» skin lines and ruined those as well).
Tons
of sugar — sugar is one
of the key «hyper rewarding
ingredients» that gets people hooked on
junk food.
There are numerous problems with fast foods and
junk foods: they often contain white flour, sugar, hydrogenated fats, or all three; often their
ingredients are
of poor quality with little nutritional value; and what nutrients they have are often lost due to being kept hot or stored for long periods
of time.

In most
of these dairy foods, the process is the important element, second to the quality
of the primary
ingredient [so, go with organic milk and you get less
junk from the poor cow].
One
of the reasons I find it easy not to eat
junk food is because I genuinely find my own prepared meals just as rewarding due to deliberately manipulating different food combinations,
ingredients and textures to maximise reward value.
