Hi Christian, Kefir pre-digests most
of the lactose in milk and leaves heaps of lactase, which helps to digest the rest of the lactose during digestion.
The small intestine of a baby mostly produces only one carbohydrate enzyme, lactase, for digestion
of the lactose in milk.
On the other hand, if the shade of green seems abnormal and even alarming, then it might be because you baby is struggling to breakdown the abundance
of lactose in the milk.
Because of the high content
of lactose in milk, we hypothesised that high consumption of milk may increase oxidative stress, which in turn affects the risk of mortality and fracture.
