of the most popular methods are 1) a completely web - based virtual
law office providing limited scope representation to online clients or 2) a virtual
law office that has been integrated into the practice
management methods
of a traditional
law firm structure.
There are many «projects» in
law offices or libraries —
offices get moved, IT systems get upgraded, and new systems generally get rolled out periodically, but those kinds
of projects are not the reason I think it's worth talking about project
management in legal practice now.
New
Law uses technology along with business processes such as project
management to create greater efficiencies
Offices are much more basic or non-existent if they use a virtual model where most
of the lawyers work from home.
