levels of learning all year long?

Last season was
something of a learning year, a take - yer - lumps experience that built character and experience in preparation for this year.
(For high achieving students who are already approaching this standard, schools would be held accountable for making sure they grow at least a year's

Since the Colorado Growth Model compares students only to those who had similar test scores in the past, a student can show «high growth» by gaining five months
of learning a year if the comparison group is only gaining four months.
Students in poverty, black students, and those who are English language learners (ELL) gain significantly more
days of learning each year in both reading and math compared to their traditional public school peers.
We also host a
festival of learning each year in Asia and the UK where teachers can learn and share ideas alongside colleagues from other IPC member schools.
In terms of years of schooling, the negative impacts on math performance were, on average, approximately half a year's
worth of learning each year, a large effect (see Figure 1).
