Ten years ago, when thinking
of legal innovation in the law, I divided what we do as lawyers into three categories: documents, advice and court advocacy.
I've said this before, but the profession in this country — and the law societies that regulate it — are not exactly on the cutting
edge of legal innovation.
Could it be these aren't even actually different conferences, but rather some foreign government's plot to spread fake
news of legal innovation?
Last week was an intense
week of legal innovation discussion, debate and (I hope) progress toward defining what the future of our industry will be.
