Stop with the madness
of letting players go into final year without constract.
No SGG, I'm saying that when we are really struggling to make the CL for next season and will face a # 45m loss in income together with many other damaging side effects, the idea
of letting any player go who could assist that cause is completely bonkers.
Wenger has a recent history
of letting players go and not adequately replacing them (Vieira, Pires, Flamini etc etc).
Not exact matches
Its looking like he is building a new team I support Mr wenger why sell sachez now for 40 million while his replacement will cost us 80 million we need to get
players of good quality first and then we can
let go and I am sure if a club comes in with 80 million for sanchez Mr wenger will
go for it savilla keep the ball well and circulates the ball well so many back passes to retain position they play a shape
of 3331 and very close there was no gaps and they were not afraid to dig in to our
players I must admit i like their system....
And from what i hear, Chelsea are gonna guarantee him first team football for some games so i wouldn't really blame him for considering, The fault i with Arsenal, we shouldn't have
let all these
players contracts run down coz now the Club is in an impossible position
of either selling the
players now or risk losing them for free next season and possibly to rival clubs.
We have
players in the squad that would be brilliant under another manager and for that simple reason wenger renews contracts instead
of letting them
go.
Let's stop the attitude
of always
going for average
players, is time to
go for the best
I'm sure Wenger will not
let him
go at least for another year, because to have a good squad, you need all sort
of ingredients, different types
of players.
There are hoards
of fans who say «its early days» or we don't need any new
players or blah blah blah but in my mind it SHOULD work like this, Podolski, Sanogo, Myachi, Diaby, Arteta, Flaminni should all be
let go, Rosicky should be kept as he's a cracking little
player, and we should be in for and getting Schneiderlin or Kondogbia and either Lacazetta or Higuian or Benzema (not a fan
of Martinez or Cavanni) and possibly Cech.
This drama
of injuries and
letting go of good
players is just getting too much for me.
So
lets get this right debuchy could still
go & wenger says» we have plenty
of players who can play there?
Wenger won't
let one
of his
players go without cash coming the other way, money is everything to these greedy people
We should not
let Ox
go to one
of our rivals, if Pep starts tapping our
players tell him to send Iheanacho, Sane or their new Brazilian striker the other way and we can start talking from there.
goodness i can't believe it people will still defend him.You know something when Giroud misses many chances like at Monaco i did not criticize him even based on that you know why?its because he has always not been clinical. The only way a team can improve is by indentifying its problems and solving them.Arsenal has Giroud as the main cf and Welbeck as backup to him.Giroud has done well scoring some goals some too important but collectively he does more harm than good.Do not use moments to judge a
player judge him based on content.Giroud does not excel in many games than he excels in games. As a main cf you need to be consistent.I see people here saying Giroud can not dribble he cant do this he cant do that but its a bit crazy to criticize him for that because every
player has his own style.Giroud limitations as a
player costs arsenal and will cost us a lot. Most importantly his poor finishing which has cost us several times. Not good enough. His style
of play is ok for us but a striker who can take on
players and run behind defences very well would make us very strong and also should be clinical. For Welbeck he needs to works on his finishing and composure by doing the basic things right. He rushes infront
of goal too much. For now he is just above average. However he can excel if he works on improving.Giroud and Welbeck will always be a pain in arsenal's neck for most part. Some will call me stupid but hey at least i want to analyze the problem.People may support Giroud or Welbeck to lead the line next season but as the saying
goes if you fool me once shame on you but if you fool me twice shame on me.Will you
let Giroud and Welbeck fool you again?
Well i would suppose he is tapping up, but is if arsenal is
going to sell to Bayern, i think not, My point is if sanchez wants to leave
let him leave, to keep him would do more harm than good and for me although many blame the manager, i feel one the main reason we got into a slump last season was Alex and Ozil, their negativity affected the performance
of the weak minded
players in our squad.
Their defence still looks as wishy washy as ever, their goalkeeping situation is now completely broken and they just
let one
of their best young
players go out on loan to accomodate... nobody?
Alexis Sanchez need to
go to club with a more ambition unlike arsenal, cos he is a winner and he needs to win more trophy, he scored 30 goals last season yet arsenal couldn't make top 4, that's to tell u a tree can't make up a forest but till now what has Wenger done to improve the squad to convince Sanchez to stay?nothing, and u expect him to stay with those
players who don't have winning mentality and a coach that lacks ambition, Sanchez don't need money what he need is quality
players...... my gunners fans all over the world
let's be truthful to ourselves, how many
of us will still remain in arsenal fc if we were Sanchez, with arsenal transfer activities so far in mind?
There's basically no sense in allowing a
player leave for free. The disgraceful thing is he's our best
player and you're
letting him
go for free.PSG have also given us the chance to include Lucas Moura / Blaise Matuidi in the deal. Why not take Matuidi and run. Then
go all out to find his replacement before the season starts.I just don't see sense in keeping him.Common sense tells us that he should be sold. You're not granted the title with or without him and just so you know, teams have won the EPL with wingers who are not better than Sanchez.Arsene should be smart before it's too late.I said weeks ago that if he knows in his heart that he's
going to sell he had better do it quickly before teams start placing mammoth prices on their
players as they'll know that desperation
of suitors grows towards the end
of the window.
it is the best chance we have had for many years and we did not take it, for me that only confirms that wenger and do the job he is being paid to do, they are wingers
players all
of them and he can't motivate them, there are still to many
players walking around that are getting paid silly wages that should not be at the club, everyone can see it but wenger, so for me he should
go followed by a good few
players, get in a new hungary manger and
let him bring in some new blood, we can't do much worse than what we have done last few years, before people say we get into europe each year you are right but realistically do stand any chance
of winning europe?
Youre not wrong Charlie but i think with allot
of fans its more a case
of Wenger
letting go the wrong
player.
sanchez to united is unbelievable best premier league
player with hazard
of last 3 years is
going to our nemesis for less than danny drinkwater well
let me tell you one thing we wont do is drinkwater vodka, sheeps blood, bleach
Bottom line, if he is angered bench the
players who were not good enough and play those who deserve some game time based on the Southampton game or on games where they had a positive impact: - Take Özil out and play Ox in the hole (he has to understand your the highest paid
player of the club, your given freedom like nobody else and your even seeking even more money with a new contract you can't play like that ever and
go AWOL)- Put Sanchez on the wing or up top but put Welbeck in (Walcott didn't track back near enough for the Alsonso goal)- Iwobi has been bright from the wing
let him play there - Xhaka has to
go back in the holding midfield role and I would take out Coquelin because he could've taken a foul on the hazard's goal.
Your post is pretty long and full
of hot air and here is why, we Never had a chance
of resigning rvp because like Sanchez he was ambitious and as for Chelsea finshing 10th
let's face it they just wanted mourinho out and they kept all their best
players and added quality one thing that wenger has forgotten how to do and as for Leicester city they are an anomaly and they weren't realistically gonna defend their trophy.
Not
letting go of players who aren't good enough or upgrading
players
Reading the thread on this article and I noticed a lot
of people naming strikers we could have gotten in past transfer windows that have
gone to other club and failed, Balotelli, Falcao, Martinez, Boney etc are recurring names in all the comments, and am sat here thinking because they failed in thee clubs does not necessarily mean they would have failed if we had pulled out our fingers and hot them back then, Balotelli aside I strongly believe all
of these
players could have made a difference playing infront
of our midfield and given the kind
of attention and care Wenger gives Giroud and Walcott, adapting our play to suit them and giving them chances after chances even when its blatantly obvious they are average
players so please
lets not keep using that as an excuse for Wenger's ultra careful attitude in the transfer market, they could have failed with us, or they could have been massive for us, all speculations.
who would
of guest City would make an offer
of 60 million in the summer for Sanchez with only a year left on his contract, i'm guessing we could get an offer
of around 30 million from City in January so he wont be persuaded by the likes
of PSG with a signing on fee in the summer, but who knows what
goes in the mind
of Alexis or what kind
of injuries some big clubs could have from now until January for them to make ridiculous offers to a world class
player with no CL conflict
of interest,
lets say Real Madrid loses Ronaldo, Bale, Karim to long term injury you bet they will come ceiling with baring gifts for Sanchez's services or even Barca with Messi or Suarez
Lets be honest, we are gonna have to spend a 1st rounder to get someone that is capable
of stepping in right away and get a guy thats an impact
player.
Of course Wenger is right regarding the difficulty to transfer Lemar at the moment as Monaco has already lost many
players in this year alone and it will be difficult for any club to
let go any more
players in same year.
Great game from our very own AFC
players... Jack is starting to switch gears and
let's hope he stays fit and keeps improving as the season
goes along... he might do like Rambo did like season
letting his talent speaks MOTM performance... Ozil was poor today and like most
of you guys it's been sometimes now even thought I'm not throwing the towel on him... but Wilshere and Cazorla are right behind him and one thing we do have is number 10's covers!!
«He would be perfect for my old team Arsenal, absolutely, whether you can get him or not I don't know because Southampton are in a very good position at the moment, they don't want to
let any
of their
players go at least until the end
of the season.»
but, im ok with this vardy transfer... it shows us many things: 1) wenger is changing, something some
of us have been demanding for a long time; 2) it shows that wenger is taking risks: think about it, he is buying a men for a not cheap price, knowing he could not getting anything after, with a future sell i mean... this is an act that shows wengers intentions to win something, the buy is not motivated by any financial or economic reason but only for a «get the f epl once again» reason... this is an act that shows us hungry, even if we fail, we could said we try... first ever, we really try; 3) finally but very important... vardy is the kind
of player we need... he is a warrior, a fighter... he has character... look at how he celebrate his goals... full
of energy... he, like alexis, can motivate the team when the things are not
going in our way (something wenger cant do because
of his age and because he has never been an active coach on the pitch)... the vardy transfer, if it finish well, is a demostration
of a change, and a good one...
lets take care
of winning things and do nt look the economic side for once... vardy is a bit old, but we can give a chance to welbeck after maybe, or akpom... u are not thinking about the future when we talk about ibra... guys: u complain when wenger do nt spend or because he is always looking for the bargain when u are the guys who has to pay the very expensive tickets... u complain when wenger buy the always for the future guy... like morata... stop to complain for everything and be consequent with yourself... i would love auba, but it is not
going to happen... lukaku is awesome but the asking price is stupid...
lets try with vardy, give us the throphy..
Take these Eradivisie two thats Janssen and Malik as Giroud will not be
let go, something to do with Wenger love... Get rid
of Welbeck, Walcott conundrum as these are glassware
players and always injured.
You mention these
player's then
go on to say
lets look for new
players who are great at what they do, instead
of our past
players?
While it's questionable if the
players Giggs feels it was wrong to
let go really would've been a success for United, there's no doubt they could have done with the signings
of Mbappe and Jesus.
What do you mean you do nt expect him to be good as De Gea.Why do you know anyone's future. If I was to be very honest with you even if we keep Ospina and sell Szczesny i do nt see him also becoming an all time great. To me he should
go to Roma where i believe he can become an all time great. He is better than Ospina in terms
of skill in goalkeeping but what makes Ospina better than him is that he acts more matured. You guys keep bringing up stats but we can all bring up stats for even a
player who might not be better than another
player but stats will make him look much better.Even hits stats show he is legendary but in actual sense he is not legendary. If u think am lying or talking too much
lets Keep Ospina and sell Szcz and
lets see.
Face saved by not
letting Sanchez
go for free in a few months and in top
of that getting an established
player like Mkhi.
I realize ultimately it's up to the
players to play up to their ability, but I also see a lack
of support and a lack
of «defense» and»
let's
go blazer» chants reigning down from Moda Center.
We
let go a
player who we have a ready made replacement for and who is not ready to wear the arsenal Jersey, and got good amount
of money for him.
Of course it would be silly to suggest that winning any game, cup or otherwise, isn't good for the club, but let's remember just how problematic FA Cup success has been for this club... I'm certainly not going to suggest I didn't enjoy seeing Arsenal win, I'm a fan of this club first and foremost, but how bad are things when you find yourself secretly wishing that your own team lost so that just maybe real change would finally come... I resent this team for even making me feel such thoughts and it's going to take a lot of effort on their part to earn my trust again... this club has treated the fans so poorly that it has created an incredibly fragile and toxic environment, so much so that a «what have you done for me lately» mentality has emerged... fans rise and fall depending on the results of each game because we don't have faith in those in charge to make the necessary changes to personnel and tactics... each time we win many fans attack any dissenting voices and make unrealistic claims about the players, the manager and the potential for unprecedented success... every time we lose the boo - birds run rampant, calling for heads to roll and predicting the worst... regardless of what side you fall on, it's not your fault, both sides are simply overcompensating for the horrible state of affairs that have been percolating for several years... it's hard to take the long view when those in charge have lied incessantly and refuse to take any responsibilities for their own actions... in the end, we are trapped by the same catch - 22 that ManU faced upon Fergie's exit... less fearful of maintaining the status quo than facing the unknown, which was validated, wrongly or rightly, by witnessing the difficulties they have faced during this transitory period... to be honest, the thing that scares me most is that this team has never prepared whatsoever for this eventuality, which considering our frugal nature and the way we have shunned many of our most revered former players is more than a little disconcerti

Here is the list
of players every club has
let go, along with a brief explanation
of the important departures...
Manager Laurent Blanc has to
let go one
of his big - name
players due to Financial Fair Play, and the 22 - year - old could be the one sacrificed.
So true he chose arsenal over Liverpool so if he feels he wants that much the he should
go elsewhere and warm the bench because the same guadiola was using him as a sub at barca and I don't see him unsettling Leroy Sane, Aguero, Jesus and Sterling...
Let's see where he
goes and what will happen city is not really a power house in england they just over spend then rely on luck over Manchester united on deadline day with an expensive collection
of players not really a team later on with a collection
of gunmen in form
of negredo aguero and dzeko.
Its not often I read one
of your comments Budd and nod my head in agreement but on this I have to say yu are 100 % on the money Afobe will MAYBE a to notch plyer one day but right now we didthe right thing
letting him
go, the only thing that I will say is that we have always
let players go when the world asked why and on hindsight have been proven right, HOWEVER why have we had
players like Diaby on the books when it was clear he would never ever be fit enough to fulfil his potential and why on earth have we currently got Sanogoals or Wellbeck on our books whe its obvious to all and their mothers that neither
of these kids will ever be anything other than average squad
players at best.
Wenger appears happy to
let players go and he was renown for getting rid
of players when they hit 30... But the board changed since then and Wenger has not had the incoming quality to replace
players when they drop.
The Red Devils are willing to
let — not one — but two
of their
players go to the Primeira Liga outfit in order to get their man.
A
player in superb form at the moment, it seems pretty clear that Liverpool
let midfielder Jonjo Shelvey
go far too quickly as he starts looking like a youngster with plenty
of potential.
Ok then Muff
let's hope Coqhelin has the next 2 games and after the City one which will still be in the window
of new
players make your judgement then His last 2half games shows he is now better and deserves his place even before Arteta or Flamini both are passed it so
let's give Coqhelen a fair
go, he has really not put a foot wrong I would rather money be spent on a left sided
player Left back and Center back for The BFG CB
Let's put it this way if u think they r
going to lose 5 1 then you have been drinking more wenger cool aid than most
of his deluded followers... At it's not just effort and cohesion... Other than Torres there are no
players on their team
of the low level
of Walcott Ramsey giroud flamini mert etc
I am trying to be optimistic, but this is a blow I don't think we can recover from until Wenger decides to
let go of Arteta and Flamini and replace them with better and younger
players.
Arguably the star
player of Manchester City's season, it's bizarre to think Chelsea
let Kevin De Bruyne
go for just # 16m three years ago, with the Belgian surely now worth # 150m or more.
