things that say that's not true: If you ate a lot

going to gain weight; No. 2, if you work out like crazy, you're probably not
going to gain weight; and No. 3, people who I've learned to really hate, people who have very fortunate, fast metabolism, aren't
going to gain weight.
But entrepreneurs don't
let a little
thing like
going against the odds get in the way
of following their dreams.
Meanwhile, some myths (I'm looking at you multitasking) are just so attractive (I really do wish I could do three
things at once) that they're hard to
let go of.
When a big - name writer such as Rowling — who,
let's face it, is the biggest there is —
goes solo and decides to sell her own ebooks independent
of any publisher, that contributes to two
things.
The smartest
thing currently
going on at RIM is the development
of BlackBerry Fusion, or the toolkit that
lets businesses manage all the different phones being brought in by employees.
This sort
of thing can
go on forever if you
let it, making it impossible to actually engage on the relevant issue.

things right; and third, quietly

lets be honest, if a company is
going to die it isn't
going to die in one week but be surprised at how much sleep a founder might need and you probably wouldn't want many friends around.
They
let go of having
things be their way when they come across more effective solutions.
To this day, when
things just don't feel right, I don't just sort
of let it
go as a case
of butterflies or something like that.
Pick up a piece
of confetti from the street and you'll likely find a note on there written by someone wishing for good
things for the next year, or
letting go of something from the past one.
One
of our investors actually told me that if there's something that someone can do even 80 percent better than you can,
let them do that
thing, and you
go focus on the
thing that only you can do at 100 percent.
If you
let people you're traveling with or meeting on the road know in advance that you're
going to need time to get
things done, they will be much more understanding when you have to bow out before that third round
of drinks.
You should set aside some time and create a list
of things you need to get done and then
let go of some.
We have spent considerably more time thinking about keeping safe the crown jewel, and
letting go of the
things that are less relevant.
I like the idea
of real estate crowd funding, but am hesitant to
let go of the real
thing.

of all crimes, but everyone has a right to complete sexual liberation once they reach the age
of consent; we relocate all over the world, preferring to live anywhere but home, yet we still agonise over our local sports club; we own many
things, and still feel we don't have enough; we believe in discipline at school or at work, but we all have a right to «
let ourselves
go» at the weekend; we tolerate everything, except people that don't agree with us.
