The amount
of chocolate chips is really up to personal preference, I like mine really chocolatey but you can add in as much as
little as you like to your taste, I'll make sure to add this into the recipe to make it more clear.
Hi Ella, just had another go at making these with the correct amount
of bicarb and smaller
chocolate chips and they came out perfectly this time (still didn't take as long as 20 minutes to cook but maybe my oven runs a
little on the hot side if you know what I mean).
These delicious whole grain spelt and oat banana muffins make the perfect snack or healthy breakfast for kids or adults, you can choose to make these slightly healthier with less sugar and a sprinkling
of oats on top, or make them into more
of a sweet treat with a
little extra sugar and
chocolate chips
Then when you're ready to make your frosting, you only use the fat from the coconut milk, melt it together with a bag
of chocolate chips (I used dairy free ones), add a
little vanilla and salt to taste and stick it in the fridge to re-solidify until ready to use.
I start off with the basic pancake recipe, and add 1/2 c chopped walnuts and a
little bit
of cinnamon, then right after I add the 1/4 c
of batter for each pancake into the pan, add some mini semisweet

I'm trying to get off wheat and sugar, so I've been loikong for a starter recipe using almond flour, this one turned out pretty well, despite a lot
of substitutions I used half chickpea flour, I added cocoa instead
of chocolate chips, subbed earth balance for the fat and sweetened with a
little coconut sugar and stevia.
You just pour a bunch
of chocolate chips (or chopped dark
chocolate, if you prefer) into a bowl and add a
little vanilla and a tiny bit
of salt.
A tip for coating with

of shortening it helps smooth it out for coating.

Keep a container
of these
chocolate chips in the fridge or freezer for whenever you need a
little sweet fix!
I used 1/4 c.
of maple syrup, but will add carob nibs or
chocolate chips next time to add a
little more sweetness.
If you are feeling a
little lazy (or are just out
of chocolate chips) the cookies are fantastic if you skip the dipping step.
I only use 1/8 cup
of the honey and a
little less coconut oil than the recipe calls for, but I use
chocolate chips, less than 1/4 cup.
I also added a
little bit
of unsweetened coconut flakes, because I can't get enough, and some dark
chocolate chips, because I know that I won't eat an energy bar without
chocolate.
You can also add in
chocolate chips, or frozen blueberries to make blueberry waffles — just make sure to coat them with a

of flour before folding them into your completed batter.
:) The only problem was choosing ONE recipe to make - luckily for me the bag
