I didn't get time this year to get very creative with the zucchini and a lot
of the other veggies we got in our CSA box combined with some sweet peppers from our pathetic
little garden.
That being said, when my mom visited back in June she helped me start a
little herb
garden and 2
of the 6 herbs I planted look wonderful!
As I gear up to begin seeding for this year's
garden, I'm reminded
of the simple — but incredible — power
of the home
garden, and that for a 3 or 4 month stretch in summer - fall, I buy very

little eggplant was from my
garden, but any type
of eggplant will do.
The only difference between the salad and the sandwich is that I left the steak slices larger, I cut the endive differently, and I used a bigger tomato from my
garden instead
of a bunch
of little ones.
