did you need to sand down each plank
of luan after it was cut?

I've always been a big fan of raised spindles, so we covered up the old spindle holes with a thin piece
of luan plywood...

We have officially cleared everything out
of our old laundry room, and this past week, Cy has begun planking the walls with a budget friendly option called
luan from Lowe's.
I'll probably make a new set
of rails from
luan as they would look better, but she doesn't care.

luan wood, meant for rough construction, was laser cut to the lines
of the cement's cracks.
It can go over top
of linoleum otherwise you are supposed to put down
luan underlayment.
I was thinking that she may be able to fill the ovals in her chairs by using pieces
of oval - shaped

of wood and thin,
