Summer is almost over but I'm not ready for autumn spices... Don't worry, there will be plenty
of meat stews and pumpkin recipes in the upcoming season!
This famous blend of herbs appeals to everyone, enhancing the taste and aroma
of meat stews, baked poultry and almost every tomato - based recipe.
Traditionally this is made up
of a meat stew and vegetables, seasoned with the much - loved Hungarian flavour... paprika.

stewing meat altho I did add a couple
of pork knuckles for the richness.
For my recipe I used several packages
of local
stew meat.
Smelling the aromas wafting out
of the oven as I waited for my bread to bake, and then relishing it wholeheartedly with salami and a
meat stew.
The unique flavor
of the this
stew comes from the cut
of meat I use, lamb neck.
Himalayan Salt is wonderful for seasoning
meats, grilled vegetables, a variety
of salads (such as pasta, egg or potato salads), soups &
stews and is also a flavorful salt to use for baking.
Chuck is the ideal cut
of meat for
stew — the tough, well marbled
meat turns flavorful and fall - apart tender after several hours
of cooking.

I normally strain my
meat or fish stock using a fine sieve before adding to my
stew, because I don't like seeing bits, pieces and tiny chips
of bone in my
stew, this is totally optional.

Unlike other chili recipes that use ground
meat, this one calls for cubes
of stew beef that, combined with the cornmeal used to thicken it, give the chili a rustic feel that reminds me
of cowboys eating around a campfire.
While my mouth still waters for another taste
