The HR - V feels very stable cruising on the highway, but the lack
of midcorner steering feel is disappointing; there's a numbness you don't experience in Honda's Civic compact sedan, for example.

The Bentley's steering weights up just right on long corners, which is good because there's plenty

That said, larger bumps and midturn potholes (the kind that you find on poorly maintained, twisty mountain roads) can be a bit
of an issue for the Nismo Z's super-stiff suspension, so take care when you're really pushing it lest you find the rear end hopping a few inches laterally

And while the suspension was capable
of delivering joy on a smooth and sweeping back road bend, around town, amid the potholes and uneven pavement
of San Francisco's streets, about the only thing the Veloster's stiffer suspension seemed to accomplish was to annoy our editors with its jarringly stiff ride and tendency to wander over
midcorner bumps.
Accelerate hard
midcorner, if you dare, and the system again allows the rears to break loose enough to inspire equal amounts
of glee and fear before dialing things back.
