Regardless of where it sits on the power spectrum, I found the boxer engine to have excellent acceleration, with plenty
of midrange torque to perform lane changes and power out of turns.
However this does have plenty
of midrange torque and the mileage is better than expected.
Not exact matches
And because all engines are turbocharged units, they have plenty
of torque to make them all decently quick in the
midrange, which is where most owners will do the majority
of their work.

The Boxster S has more hp and more
midrange torque, so I'd like to try one
of those.
More importantly, its 277 lb - ft

of modes you can't escape the quick, feel - good steering, sharp ride or immense

midrange kick, power and
torque tend to drop off post 5000rpm, encouraging you to shift up early.
Backing the stellar chassis is the potent drivetrain that's got plenty
of midrange guts with all 430 lb - ft
of torque available between 3,500 and 4,500 rpm.
