Then using a wooden crate that I had
from Typo I gave it 2 coats
of my
milk coloured chalk
paint and then distressed.
:) I used some
of the amazing
milk paint from General Finishes * and even added a cottage style table top, made
from reclaimed wood.

I
painted it in a
paint product I was testing out, but the pale blue color was blending into the wall and I really wanted the character that I love so much
from milk paint, so I slapped on a coat
of Boxwood one morning.
To get this look I
painted one thin coat
of milk paint, applying continuous long brush strokes
from one end
of the table to the other.
That's
from the texture underneath created by the first coat
of milk paint.
I purchased a few different sizes
of embroidery hoops
from JoAnn Fabric and I «stained» them all with a watered down brown

I used Bonding Agent often with my
milk paint knowing full well that most times it works and keeps the
paint from chipping much, but
milk paint kinda does what it wants to do sometimes regardless
of the plan you have in mind.

of finishes including frosting, iridizing, fired - on
painting, staining, and hand
painting.
Think about
painting walls, cupboards or wood furnishings with a fresh wash
of milk - white and add just a few homespun accents... for a splash
of color, hang a quilt on the wall
