Nowadays, more than 60 % of the population owns a cellphone and believe it or not, almost 58 %
of mobile traffic comes from smartphones!
While smartphones represented about 46 percent of global online traffic in 2016, data from Criteo indicates that only about 27
percent of mobile traffic converted into actual sales.
Sean Doherty over at Law Technology News recently published an interesting piece about the
amount of mobile traffic hitting American Lawyer Media (ALM) websites.

Smartphones, tablets, social networking sites and video - sharing sites have helped mobile video traffic become more than
half of all mobile traffic.
The total for iOS devices (phones and tablets) are 43.1 % of the market share, and they seem to have 58.5 %
of mobile traffic.
