The other day, a friend from church asked if anyone knew
of natural food coloring.
Currently, the United States imports much
of the natural food coloring it uses commercially.
A super simple solution that can be found at your local natural food store or co-op is a box
of all natural food coloring.
Two, I found a brand
of natural food coloring that actually is pretty darn vibrant.
I also used a little bit
of natural food coloring for the pinkish color but you can also use beet juice to color your cookies.
I've never gotten such vibrant colors out
of natural food coloring.
I tried out a new type
of natural food coloring but it ended up turning the cake a faded burgundy color... gross.
We added a bit
of natural food coloring in addition to the strawberries just so it would be nice and bold for pictures but we would still recommend using it, no matter if you decide to use extra natural sugar or flour.
1 tbsp IMO syrup (see Note 1 below) 1/2 tbsp coconut flour 2 tbsp vanilla whey protein powder (I used this one by MyProtein) 3 - 4 drops
of natural food coloring (see Note 2 below for more on this)
Vanilla whey protein powder Coconut flour Almond or cartoned - coconut milk 3 - 4 drops
of natural food coloring
If you want them more bright, feel free to grab one
of the natural food colorings!
But those plants and others have quietly become sources of a new generation
of natural food colorings that are replacing traditional synthetic colors and colors derived from beetles.
Just a caution that
some of the natural food colorings and additives can cause severe reactions as well.

As mentioned in the Genuine Grub post, finding organic, vegan, MSG - free,
food coloring free, and preservative - free Asian sauces, spices, and condiments in the U.S. is like near impossible because the Asian stores don't usually carry it, the

of Asian shoppers is not as high.

Of course real oranges account for the orange taste, which is a recurring theme with Paleo, it uses
