If someone were to create this
planet, universe, and all the life that exists, they wouldn't waste their time creating 350,000 different species
of beetles, or 12,000 different species
of roundworm, or the countless
number of other species that have inhabited the earth.
The human mass, because on the confined surface
of this

of continuous additive growth, in
numbers and interconnections, must automatically become more and more tightly concentrated upon itself.
