On our boat we got some kind
of oat meal for breakfast which we could not eat.
This not only confirms what I've heard from other «learned» sources about oats but it confirms a very shifty (as in shift in consciousness) idea that our body / mind does not have a watch and a bowl
of oat meal or for me a bow tie noodle can trigger a sweet memory and that memory has teeth / feelings of it's own.
Certainly this would increase the amount of fiber but would I be missing something of nutritional value by making such a substitution as oat bran instead
of oat meal?

of oat meals (plain type, no sugar, no flavor, no any other additives)-- 200 calories, add 1/2 spoon of honey — 150 calories.

My standard muffin recipe uses a blend
of almond
meal and
oat flour, which lightens up the muffs a bit.

I made these yesterday using gluten - free oats ground to make
oat flour, cooked quinoa instead
of quinoa flakes, 1 egg instead
of the flax egg, greek plain fat free yogurt instead
of the coconut yogurt, regular sugar instead
of coconut sugar, and added about 1/4 cup flax
meal.
As an example, a lot
of people say that
oat meal gets them really full, even while a boxed cereal like wheat flakes actually leaves them starving.
You can serve this
meal with a slice
of oat bread and pomegranate juice.
Eat whole grain cereals,
oat meal, and lots
of beans.
You may not be getting enough for your body... chia seeds, flaxseed
meal,
oat bran are good sources
of fiber that you can add to your
meals.
