I was making my no - oat paleo «instant oatmeal» for breakfast the other day, and I realized it would save time to make a big batch
of oatmeal mix for the week.
To make your instant oatmeal, just mash half of a banana in the bottom of a cereal bowl, stir in a scoop
of the oatmeal mix and some nut milk, and pop it in the microwave.
Once you have a jar
of oatmeal mix ready to go, you only need to add the banana and non-dairy milk to make a fast bowl of paleo oatmeal for breakfast.
I normally get up at 6:30 am and eat half a bagel with peanut butter and a bowl
of oatmeal mixed with frozen blueberries in it.
Usually, a sticky paste consisting
of oatmeal mixed with honey and water is applied to the face as a mask.

For quick breakfasts we often do a Bananas Foster
oatmeal — the bananas

of water is perfectly drinkable, but it is even better

I top this
oatmeal with a
mix of nuts, seeds, and dried fruits, and pour a little milk over it while it is still hot.
I used roasted pumpkin for depth
of flavour and a less wet
mix, but for speed you could use fresh raw chunks or puree from a can BUT in that case you will likely need to add extra
oatmeal (or a similar dry ingredient) since the resulting
mix will be wetter than when using roasted pumpkin which has a lot less moisture remaining.
