of our other blogging friends for this years first installment of the Farmhouse Holiday Series!
Last year, if you recall, I hosted a series called 31 Days of Autumn Bliss, along with a group
of other blogging friends who each wrote on their own topics.

Over the course
of the next year, I made several good
blogging friends online, and learned a lot about
blogging, started several
other blogs, and decided to pursue my dream
of getting published.

Good
friends will be
blogging from the
other side
of the world on their own family travel experiences and I'll be here in the US.
Calling myself a green beauty addict would be a bit
of an understatement... What I enjoy most is sharing the magic in everyday life with
others whether that's
blogging about my latest beauty and fashion discoveries, acting in indie film, talking with a close
friend, or singing obnoxiously loud in my car.

After a good 6 months
of feeling like my only readers were my Mom and hubby,
friends and acquaintances started commenting on my posts and with that came suggestions to do as the
other style bloggers do and photograph myself in the outfits I'm
blogging about.

of the month, I also have a whole list
of other quick and easy meals for you from my
blogging friends!

Since then, I've connected with many
other bloggers, enjoyed getting to know my readers, and took over the High Five for Friday linkup (with 3

I am thankful for my health, my home, my supportive
friends and extended family, my job, my church, relationships with my #stylecollective sisters and
other amazing entrepreneurs I have met through the
blogging community, and
of course I give all thanks and recognition to my glorious Creator.

I'm headed to Nashville, TN to meet up with two
of my best
blogging friends, who are actually just best
friends period, and now we finally get to meet each
other IRL instead
of just constantly emailing, Snapchatting, texting, Skyping and messaging for months and months.
She's definitely one
of my closest
blogging friends, we talk constantly on Facebook, we share a love
of bright colors (though she's more daring to wear them than I am) and have a ton
of other things in common.
It's hard to believe a whole month has gone by since my
blogging friends and I challenged each
other to up the curb appeal
of our homes.
I really enjoy having
other bloggers to collaborate with and love the awesome group
of blogging friends that I've made this past year!

And then I found my
other blogging friends and attended the BlogPaws conferences - and suddenly I realized that writing about cats was one
of my passions and something I wanted to continue!
If there's one thing I learned from
blogging all these years is the power
of networking, being part
of the larger travel
blogging community and making
friends with so many
others that are doing what you're doing.
But for the millions
of other people who use it to connect to their group
of friends on LiveJournal, or to announce the footie training, or to connect to the people with the same illness or all the 100s and 1000s
of other uses that are not mass broadcasting to a group
of fans,
blogging is nowhere near dead and is more alive than ever.
On the
other hand, if building a strong network
of friends and business associates or
others with a shared passion, then perhaps there are
other approaches than
blogging that may be more appropriate to meet that need.
So when my
friends Alicia from A Burst
of Beautiful reached out to me to join her and some
other blogging friends to share a Spring Tablescape, I jumped at the chance.
I've asked a bunch
of my
blogging friends to share their inspired rooms over the next week or two — it's just cool to see how
other people come up with the look
of their favorite rooms and how they evolve.
