Typically, infected

cats, not just outdoor, indoor / outdoor, those

When you have concerns that one
of your
cats will be subjected to bullying by
other kitties
in the
house, you can see what they are doing inside their comfort room and address the issue right away.

of change from either life on the street or being suddenly separated from his prior family and home.

We do not have a shelter and all dogs are
in private homes where wonderful people — our fosters — help their foster dogs recover from their past, learn household manners, firm up
house training, learn basic obedience commands and check out how they do with kids
of various ages,
other dogs and
cats.
A newly acquired
cat of any age should be taken to the vet immediately, and before introducing it to any
other cats you might have
in the
house.
This will allow your new
cat to adapt to you and your home without the overwhelming task
of a whole
house (or
other pets) to take
in.
