so look for their weekly or monthly
adoption events, such as at large chain pet stores like Petco and PetSmart.
We have lots
of opportunities that include,
adoption counselors, greeters, dog walkers, assisting with our enrichment program, helping with outside
adoption events, foster parents, and even helping with laundry if you are
so inclined.
The FOTAS volunteers, who work on bookkeeping, social media, and special fundraising

so much more.
We see
so many pet kisses at our
adoption events, we've collected some
of our favorites.
There are
so many adoptables through our doors any given week, hundreds
of points
of contact with the public and numerous
adoption and community outreach
events.
Ginger's Pet Rescue has a broad range
of volunteer opportunities including assisting at
adoption events, walking dogs, transporting dogs, helping plan and organize fundraising
events, and
so much more.
But
adoption events are just a part
of our placement process,
so don't be concerned that that will be the only contact we have with you.
You get to do all
of the fun things you would do with your own dog: take them on a walk, to the park, to
events and more — and we'll supply a vest they can wear that shows they're available for
adoption so they can meet potential adopters along the way.
Applicants must be at least 21 years
of age and the head
of household (If you are not the head
of household, the head
of household must be a co-applicant and must come to the
adoption event so we are able to confirm that the homeowner / person named on the lease is okay with the
adoption).

adoption event and expect to adopt a dog that day - we need time to review your application ahead
of time, which is why we ask that you submit your application ahead

so you don't miss out on the dog you are hoping to adopt while you wait for your application to be reviewed.
Groups have found that many people who attend the
event do
so because they want to save a life, they don't like going to shelters because they are too sad, they love the idea
of having a variety
of animals to choose from («one stop shopping») and they like the low cost all inclusive fee and easy
adoption process.

We support animals that we have rescued for their entire lives,
so in the
event that an
adoption does not work out, we always welcome them back and require that they be returned to Tails
of Gray.
