After walking inside the hostel from the street, there was a large and spacious reception area with a reception desk at the far end of the room, and a sitting area in the front portion of the room with a few padded chairs, couches and benches.

I really wanted a long more substantially sized bench with a padded back to fill the space under the window, so I really think it's going to help anchor and complete that side of the room.

I reminded the hubs about how awesome and smart I am when I dragged the old padded ottoman out of the garage that I had insisted on keeping for any ottoman related emergencies and decided it was going to become a bench.

A simple padded bench creates a gorgeous spot for appreciating the garden views that are a feature of this kitchen.

Just this morning I'm sitting here wondering if I could bring a padded «bench» in place of the coffee table that I now think is too big, but will it go with the new rug.
