Place a piece
of painters tape on an area that isn't being painted so that you know where to put the doors back when you are done!
Once dry, add
loops of painters tape or removable adhesive strips to the back and now you're ready to hang them up!
First, I cut a piece of brown kraft paper and laid pieces
of painters tape at a 45 degree angle.
Step 2) I applied painter's tape to the jars to create the stripes and the football.To create the stripes I placed a piece
of painters tape in between each stripe then removed it and repeated it.
At first glance the space resembles a studio more than a gallery: long
strands of painters tape, unstretched canvas mounted to the walls, books, low resolution printed out photos and stacks of paper implies that the audience is literally «stepping into» a work in progress.
I had small pieces
of painters tape around the stencil, taped it in place then used the roller to smush it against the baseboard.
It's light yellow, made to remove from wallpaper easily, and is the lightest stickiness
level of painters tape.
I covered the top half and the inside with a plastic sack, and sealed the bottom
edge of the painters tape with some glazing medium in hopes of creating a nice, crisp line.
You could also use a stencil (either cut out with a Silhouette or purchased) of a fancier label,
instead of the painters tape, and still use the craft paint.
I used a piece
of painters tape to hold the loose end in place while the glued dried...
To keep from getting the paint on the chalkboard, I attached a piece
of painters tape.
