My recipe is one banana, a handful of frozen raspberries, 3 tbsp
of peach yogurt, one tsp flaxseed, one scoop vanilla whey protein powder, and one cup vanilla almond milk.
I served it over a plain grilled peach for me, but added a little scoop
of peach yogurt that was in the fridge for everyone else, omnivores all.
I started by mixing three teaspoons of yeast into a small cup
of peach yogurt.
Not exact matches
Yeast has the consistency
of insect eggs (I would know) and the flavour
of mushrooms and old socks — neither being complementary to
peach yogurt.
Tips for eating more: It can be hard keeping fresh
peaches and eating them before they go bad, so buy a bag
of organic frozen
peach slices and add them to smoothies or a bowl
of yogurt for even more protein.
This recipe is very adaptable ---- try adding a different type
of nuts, use berries instead
of peaches, use plain
yogurt over vanilla.
And besides, the frozen
yogurt in the photos was made with three mangoes out
of thirty that had somehow entered our house with no purpose or reason... But you can substitute
peaches or nectarines, berries or even banana.
For the topping, I whipped up 2 pints
of heavy cream with a 1/4 cup
of powdered sugar and 1/4 cup
of a Japanese
peach yogurt drink.

of Greek
yogurt (I used plain Chobani) 1/3 cup
of maple syrup or honey 1/4 cup
of sugar 3 room temperature eggs 1 teaspoon
of vanilla extract 1.5 cups
of all - purpose flour (I used King Arthur) 2 teaspoons
of baking powder 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon 1 tablespoon ground flax seed 1/4 teaspoon salt 1/2 cup
of unsweetened applesauce (I used a
peach / apple) 1 3/4 cup
of pitted, chopped (roughly) fresh cherries 1/4 cup
of toasted slivered or sliced almonds.

Add the frozen
peaches, honey,
yogurt, and lemon juice to the bowl
of a food processor (I used a blender and it worked well on the ice crushing mode) and process until creamy, about 5 minutes.
Speaking
of finish and luscious: fresh
