Do your best to avoid the milk chocolate stuff that's high in sugar and lots of additives, and instead use lots
of plain cocoa powder, raw cacao powder, or try my favorite hot chocolate brew in the world — Crio Brü!

of a sweet treat, try the one that's replaced my late night cereal fix:

DIY version: Try mixing one tablespoon raw
cocoa powder, a half cup
of sliced banana, one teaspoon
of pure vanilla extract, one teaspoon
of honey, a half cup
of plain grass - fed Greek yogurt, one tablespoon almond butter, one quarter teaspoon ground cinnamon, and a handful
of ice.
Enjoy
plain dark chocolate in moderation (with a minimum
cocoa content
of 70 percent) to satisfy your sweet tooth.
Be sure to use raw cacao,
plain cocoa, or 100 % baking chocolate in place
of sugary sources
of chocolate (which often contain milk and cane sugar).
For the sweetener, I used NuNaturals
plain white stevia extract (nothing added, not the packets or white powder) so be sure if you use another brand or type
of cocoa and stevia that there are no additional ingredients in the brands you choose.
Plain and simple, cacao is the raw form
of the cacao bean, whereas,
cocoa is the cheap, more processed variety — which has been roasted, alkalized, molded into heated cakes, the cacao butter / oil pressed out, then powdered.
