I heat my
milk (1/2 gal) sometimes with added cream
in a large heavy saucepan to low boil, cool for 20 to 30 mins and add the yogurt starter (purchased
plain full fat) that I have premixed with a small amount
of milk.

Anyway, thanks to Prana Bar, I was able to survive until I got home and made this super extra creamy oats cooked
in almond
milk and a bit
of soymilk, topped with ice cream non fat
plain yogurt and Natural Directions Organic Crunchy Peanut Butter.

I only had
plain yogurt (not greek) and used apple juice
in place
of the
milk and they still came out awesome!

in a pinch, just

milk so I added
in two teaspoons
of vanilla and also a teaspoon

I also did not have any
milk so instead
of the
milk I used
plain low fat greek yogurt — 3 tbsp (no sugar
in the yogurt)!!
If you have some
plain almond
milk though, you can replace some
of the water
in the recipe with an equal amount
of almond
milk to bump up the creaminess.
Regardless
of whether you're producing meatballs
in sauce, jam with strawberries, chocolate pudding or
plain white
milk, the process involves heat treatment, and this usually means using heat exchangers.

of Califia's, Lyle's Golden Cane Syrup
in place
of the brown rice syrup [I like the taste way better], and 1 Tablespoon goat butter [because why not?].

Would
plain old cows
milk work
in lieu
of almond
milk?
I came up with this on the fly last week after realizing too late
in the day that we were out
of plain almond
milk and very low on cornmeal.
I made a few changes: I used all
plain flour (that's all I had), sheep's
milk yogurt (I bought it to try and it's weird / gross so I made these to use it up), a little bit
of coconut oil
in replace
of about a quarter
of the butter because I didn't want to open a new packet
of butter (I'm just lazy:P), and I used 4 small apples instead
of 2 big (gasp!).
When we camped
in the
plains area southwest
of Nairobi, young Masai girls sometimes came with gourds
of milk which they exchanged with our boys for corn meal.
But there's also lots
of plain yogurt and
milk in there, resulting
in a moist but not - at - all greasy cornbread our kids love.
If buttermilk isn't on hand, soak the chicken instead
in yogurt, or
plain milk with a teaspoon
of white vinegar added.
If a bowl
of plain rice doesn't appeal to you, mix
in a bit
of milk and honey.
In light
of that, some pediatricians might recommend introducing selected yogurts, like
plain, whole
milk yogurt, as early as 6 months.
We also now know that an infant needs «good» fats and carbohydrates

In elementary school (K thru 6), they wheeled around a cart

plain milk only) to our classrooms when they were finished.

plain milk by making it more obviously available,
in an attempt to persuade children to choose it over chocolate
milk.
