Converting to a
plant based diet is a wonderful opportunity to experiment with flavours and get in touch with our creative
sides whilst getting healthy and reducing harm to our environment and
of course, the animals.
-- One can either stick to eating carrots and other whole
plant based foods leaving them satisfied & healthy, — OR one can go hungry counting calorie on standard diabetes
diet while suffering the expense and
side effects
of taking diabetes medications while their health diminishes over time.
As someone who eats a
plant based diet and drinks Kombucha regularly (for pleasure, not for health benefits) I would like to better understand the possible
side effects
of Kombucha.
And since there are no negative
side effects
of a whole foods
plant based diet, and actually there are myriad other benefits to look forward to, it only makes sense to me to give it a shot!

diet, I would be concerned about potential
side effects
of the eco-Atkins
diet, including ketoacidosis, where pH drops to extremely low levels... not sure what the latest data is on this.
So much contradictory information, but from what I've read I will come down on the
side of plant based diet being best.
Just as a
side note, since adopting a whole food
plant based diet with zero animal products or calcium supplements, my calcium levels have been «perfect» in the words
of the doctor for the first time in my life.
Great info... I'm already eating a
plant -
based diet for health reasons, but the vanity
side of it is alive and well!
