Though you don't find a lots
of polenta dishes on my blog, it is an absolutely staple in my kitchen.

of polenta dishes.

Polenta Squares with Sweet Potato & Cashew Paté, our Mini Savoury Courgette, Basil & Pequillio Pepper Muffins and Cucumber Rye Finger Sandwiches, followed by our Fudgy Brownie Bites, Cake Bites and a Homemade Scone served with Coconut Yogurt and our Red Berry Jam.
Creamy
polenta is a fantastic side
dish to serve in place
of pasta or potatoes and we've perfected two delicious versions
of our basic
polenta recipe — one for the stovetop, another for the pressure cooker.
I took 1/2 cup
of polenta and mixed it with fresh chopped spinach on the side, and topped it with 1/2 an ounce
of cheddar cheese — my side
dish was 6 smart points.
Polenta makes a great gluten free substitution or a nice side
dish when I'm looking for options outside
of potatoes and rice.
For this breakfast
dish, I use a base
of polenta, crowned with a poached egg, golden yolk ready to spill out at the lightest touch
of a fork.
I can't get over how the roasted flavors in this
dish pair with the creaminess and mild flavors
of the
polenta.

Comfort food has been on constant rotation in my home lately and I recently made a

This warming winter meal was inspired by the classic Italian
dish of creamy
polenta with mushroom ragout.
The evening featured
dishes such as Le Homard, a Maine lobster simmered in Chateau Chalon and Le Porc Iberique, a caramelized plume
of Iberico pork served with creamy
polenta and golden Belgian endives.
Additionally, Fogo offers a colorful gourmet salad and sides bar with an abundance
of fresh and seasonal choices, and Southern Brazilian side
dishes such as pão de queijo (warm cheese bread), crispy hot
polenta, and caramelized bananas are served family style.

dishes often lose their appeal when the heat index breaks 100 degrees, but these little nuggets
of polenta and chicken were pleasing right off the bat.
This is a lovely
dish (although I have to admit to using cream instead
of milk in the
polenta, which I'm sure upped the deliciousness).
Spread
polenta evenly on the bottom
