In my time with the game I missed the feeling
of praying for a dead end so I could start exploring one of the other dozen of paths I found along the way.

I don't understand why anyone would be offended by someone
praying for the souls
of their
dead ancestors, whatever religion you happen to be, if you don't believe in God it isn't like it hurts anything, if you beleive in a different God, again it isn't like it hurts anything...
And yet I suspect you would be enormously bothered by Muslims gathering to
pray for forgiveness
of the
dead after a Christian death.

pray for discernment, so we may know that the feeling
of being «as good as
dead» is not the end

If the Church in Corinth had been taught by the Apostle Paul that the manner in which one is saved is to
pray (verbally or nonverbally) a sincere, penitent, prayer / petition to God, such as a version
of the Sinner's Prayer, why does this passage
of God's Holy Word discuss baptisms
for the
dead and not «prayers
for the
dead», specifically,
praying a version
of the Sinner's Prayer
for the
dead?
I know at this point its sort
of kicking a
dead horse, because I know we've both agreed that clearly we'll see what we want to see but your answer just begged the question, so this friend
of yours is he a) a christian himself b) had he been
praying for a job before c) why did your prayer take an entire week to be fulfilled d) is it a good job?
