Take the example of psychologist Daryl Bem, who has infuriated his colleagues by publishing an experiment that supports the
existence of precognition: the ability to sense events that have not yet happened.
In 2010 Bem published the results of nine experiments he had conducted over seven years that, in his view, constituted strong
evidence of precognition.
Following the standard rules of hypothesis testing, he concluded that the alternate hypothesis — the
reality of precognition — must therefore be valid.
Even Scarlett Johansson («Ghost in the Shell») shows up, voicing Nutmeg, a show dog who falls for Chief's gentle overtures, as well as Tilda Swinton («Okja») as Oracle, a dog with the
powers of precognition.
I'm sure Sony wouldn't have shown KZ3 being played in remote play on the Vita if they had the
gift of precognition and knew of every business deal that was to come.
Writers understand their job well, and they have a
sort of precognition about what internet browser would look for.
You'd think it would be more than enough to fuel his desire for revenge that Christian had him fired, in the previous movie, for making an admittedly criminal pass at Ana, but no: Christian and Ana are so amazingly brilliant that they possess a whole new
kind of precognition that allows them to perceive that there must be something else driving him, something that must be investigated and ferreted out.
Now, in the twilight of his career, he has committed what may be his most daring act of sacrilege: claiming the
existence of precognition, the ability to sense future events.
