On long fasts (I do warrior diet five times a week and two days where I don't eat at all to resume eating the next day after five pm) I supplement with a
tablespoon of psyllium husk powder in water every six waking hours or so.
I feel like 1/3
cup of psyllium husk powder wouldn't absorb a full cup of H2O... The «buns are in the oven» right now, so I cant say how they turned out with 1 cup of water only (yet).
-- 2 1/4 cups of cold water — 1 and a 1/2 cups of pumpkin seeds — 1 1/4 cup of buckwheat flour — 3/4 cup of brown rice flour — 2 - 3 tablespoons ground flax — 3 heaped
tablespoons of psyllium husk powder — 2 tablespoons of chia seeds — 2 tablespoons of dried mixed herbs (rosemary, coriander, provance mix)-- salt and pepper to taste
Would you think adding 1 teaspoon or 2
of psyllium husk powder to the crust would change it's consistency?
Once everything is evenly blended, without turning off your blender, add in the 2 tablespoons
of psyllium husk powder.
Bentonite and psyllium colon cleanse: Add one tablespoon of bentonite liquid clay and one tablespoon
of psyllium husk powder to half a glass of water first thing in the morning one hour before Breakfast.
If you don't have de-oiled almond flour and want to achieve a fluffier texture, you can add two - four tablespoons
of psyllium husk powder.
To make your own simply add one tablespoon of bentonite clay liquid and one tablespoon
of psyllium husk powder to half a glass apple juice and water.
If you don't have access to quality protein powder, which is used in this recipe, you can substitute it with 3 tablespoons of almond flour + 1 tablespoon
of psyllium husk powder OR just use 1/4 cup almond flour instead of the protein powder.
