utility of quinoa flakes last fall making a recipe for dinner rolls by Gluten Free Girl — they definitely change batter / dough consistency, but I really like the flavor that they incorporate

The other day I made up my own
version of quinoa flake, walnut and chocolate chip cookies, except I went the whole hog and made them vegan and refined sugar free.
Hi — I really want to try this but have to be gluten free — could I substitute the rolled oats with quinoa flakes, and if so what
proportion of quinoa flakes would be appropriate?
This is my favourite version, and it's filled to the brim with the
goodness of quinoa flakes, shredded coconut, nuts, and fruit all bound together in a sweet (but not in - your - face - sweet) mixture of coconut oil, tahini, honey, and orange zest.
I actually bought a
bag of quinoa flakes the other day and just then put them in my pantry cus I'm all like....
We start with a
base of quinoa flakes, then add chia and hemp seeds for added protein, stir in a scoop of protein powder (which is optional, but definitely makes it sweeter), some cinnamon and nutmeg (< — duh) and top it off with some unsweetened almond milk.
I did substitute
half of the quinoa flakes with almond flour because I like the flavor from that combination, but these will definitely stay on my snack list.

grams of quinoa flakes or corn flakes for four weeks.
I made these yesterday using gluten - free oats ground to make oat flour, cooked quinoa
instead of quinoa flakes, 1 egg instead of the flax egg, greek plain fat free yogurt instead of the coconut yogurt, regular sugar instead of coconut sugar, and added about 1/4 cup flax meal.
It's convinced me to grind up
some of my quinoa flakes to play with.
I did however make some changes — Instead
of Quinoa flakes (Because I didn't have any and was too lazy to get some), I used Oats, Instead of Almond Butter, I used Organic Peanut Butter, did not use walnuts (Allergic to them), and I did not stick the dough in the fridge for 30 min, I baked them right away!
But since it's not Passover, you can use oatmeal, which you can get anywhere, instead
of the quinoa flakes.
Had blue tilapia and used ~ 1 cup panko crumbs instead
of quinoa flakes.
Can I grind my own quinoa and use it instead
of quinoa flakes?
I haven't tested these with quinoa — but I have a bar recipe that uses whole quinoa instead
of quinoa flakes.
You can also used certified GF oats instead
of the quinoa flakes.
Can I use quinoa flour instead
of quinoa flakes?
I've never heard
of Quinoa flakes either!
