Somewhere around 6 months, your baby may be showing signs
of readiness for solids.
If your baby is at least 4 months old and shows signs
of readiness for solids, the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology recommends starting with a few nonallergenic foods — such as pureed veggies, fruits, meats, or infant cereal — to see if they cause any reactions.

Once your pediatrician gives you the green light, and your little one is showing signs
of readiness (usually around 6 months) you have lots
of options and strategies
for introducing
solids, including baby - led weaning (self - feeding) or purees.
Granted, your baby is grabbing at everything at this point, so this may not be the best indicator
of a baby's
readiness for solids.
Based on your child's individual signs
of readiness, developmental and feeding history, your doctor's advice and your intuition, you can start
solids at the best time
for your baby.
Some mothers with hypoplasia / IGT find that their babies need no additional donor milk or formula supplementation around the middle
of the first year, when they've shown
readiness for some
solid foods.
In addition to the signs
of readiness that must be present to begin «
solid» food, there are some additional «fun» guidelines
for when you get started feeding
solid foods, too.

On the basis
of that work, I am hopeful that policymakers may reasonably be able to reach
solid judgments about rigorous but realistic standards
for readiness that may be used with broad support.

solid relationships with their clients.
The concept showed promise as part
of a job
readiness and job search assistance program
for seventeen - to twenty - four - year - old couples.60 Helping young people get off to a
solid start in careers can be important
for improving couple outcomes and avoiding nonmarital births.
