The medina is full
of riads that have all been brought back to life over the years and part of the fun is finding them down the twisting back streets and walk ways.
This tour features a careful and varied selection of accommodation, consisting

The courtyard is my favorite part
of the riad and it's decorated with marvelous Moroccan rugs and a large fountain in the center full of petals.
Usually three to four stories high, each room opens onto the central open space
of the riad.
They were barely any dimmer in Marrakech itself; this painting, Stars above and Below, is the view from the rooftop terrace
of my riad, with the celestial glow above me and the star - patterned ceramic tiles beneath my feet.

riads» as tehy call the hotels is not the customary accommodation travellers would be used to but the experience is what counts.

of the courtyard you can find gardens, pools, places to seat depending on
riad.
Generally
riad has terrace and some has very rewarding views
of the cities.
