I've checked a few days in September and found a lot
of Saver award seats.
Searching with flexible dates allows you to find the best availability
of Saver Awards, which are typically available for half of the miles a Standard Award requires.
When I was trying to put together a South America trip about 1.5 years ago I found a ton
of Saver awards to Brazil and Chile in first and biz.
Now, not only there is no mentioning
of Saver awards, but now they are specifically mentioning both American Airlines and US Air.
Saver awards for these flights are starting at 80,000 Delta SkyMiles one way and we just saw a lot
of Saver awards open up but then dry up virtually overnight.
It's also good to see them increasing the number

of how many miles or points you would have needed with cash back or a statement credit.

awards will be anywhere near as generous or available as, say, American's off - peak flights to Europe, even an expansion
