of a great white

After about an hour
of motoring, you will find yourselves in the middle
of the ocean with barley land in
sight and with three, four or more spreader whale
sharks slowly swimming.

And Allen and McCosker both say that 2015 has not been an outlier year
of white
shark sightings or encounters, at least for the waters off and around the San Francisco Bay.
This beautiful reef is home to an incredible variety
of tropical fish as well as offering
sighting of manta rays, reef
sharks and the occasional turtle.
Channels such as Naiqoro Passage hold
sharks and swirling schools
of tuna, giant trevally, mahi - mahi and snapper, while sites on the open - water side
of the reef provide additional chances for
sightings of passing pelagics, including humpback whales, tiger
sharks, whale
sharks, billfish and tuna.
In recent weeks, observers have noted migrating whales coming closer to California's shoreline, pelagic red crabs arriving in droves near Channel Islands National Park, and a spike in great white
shark sightings off the coast
of our Golden Gate National Parks.
Common

This site is well known for excellent
sightings of grouper, lobster, barracuda, sand
sharks, and tiny blue tropical fish.
Consequently the seasonable

It's famous for being the only place in the world for usual
sightings of thresher
sharks (it's almost guaranteed).
In the winter time, most sea lion colony tours end with a
sighting of whale
sharks off the Magote just outside La Paz.

At Brand's Hatch, you could be accompanied by shoals
of jacks as you make your way across the channel to see
sharks and the special

This place is often reached via live aboard boats as
sightings of sharks, turtles, and manta rays are common
sights here.
There is plenty to see diving between the two reef structures at depths ranging from 45 - 60 feet / 14 -18 mt.
Sightings here could include southern stingrays and nurse
sharks in the sandy bottom, spotted eagle rays, turtles, schools

of smaller tropical reef fish thriving around healthy corals.

We can see everything from
sharks, pelagics, mantas and dolphins to pygmy seahorses, blue ringed octopus and frogfish but the most impressive with komodo diving is the amount
of fish on the dive
sights and the massive amount
of healthy corals
