Not exact matches
Whatever shape you fancy — rotini,
shells, elbows, penne — Banza contains twice the protein and four times the fiber
of traditional
pasta.
Although Popkoff's Pelmeni (savory
pasta shells) and Vareniki (stuffed pierogies) are made in the United States, its consumer base consists
of Eastern Europeans already familiar with the traditional fare.
This fall treat stars lovely
pasta shells and a three - cheese sauce that's topped with a vibrant swirl
of bright green pesto.
Tasty ideas: Simply
shell the peas, sauté with a little bit
of butter and toss with fresh mint and hot
pasta.
I served it with
shells so each bit
of pasta was full
of sauce.
Spoon heaping tablespoons
of filling into each
pasta shell.
I ripped this recipe from a recent issue (not exactly sure which one)
of Weight Watchers Magazine, which I adapted somewhat, using canned beans instead
of dry,
pasta shells instead
of orechiette, and adding some carrots and celery.
1 lb ground beef (or vegetarian crumble) 3 cups
of beef broth (or vegetable broth to make vegetarian) 4 - 5 cloves
of garlic, minced 1 TB dried parsley 1 TB dried basil 1/2 cup chopped onion 1 — 28 oz can
of diced tomatoes 1 — 6 oz can
of tomato paste 1 cup V8 (or any vegetable drink) 2 cups uncooked
shell pasta 1/4 tsp pepper 1/4 tsp salt
Cook your
pasta shells according to package instructions and grill your corn on the cobb in either your oven or in your cast iron skillet with a bit
of olive oil to get some charred marks.
Ingredients 1 250 g package
of jumbo
pasta shells 2 500 g tubs
of 2 % cottage cheese 1 140 g package goat's cheese, softened 1 egg 500 g frozen spinach, thawed then excess moisture squeezed out pinch
of nutmeg pinch
of salt and pepper 1/4 grated Parmesan cheeese 350 g shredded mozzarella, or Italian mix cheese 850 ml — roughly 1 1/2 jars, spicy roasted garlic tomato sauce (or whatever kind you like)
Spoon layer
of pasta sauce into bottom
of roasting pan, arrange
shells, and top with remaining
pasta sauce.
Ingredients: 1 package gluten free
pasta shells 1/2 package (for the small
shells) Punk Rawk Labs herb or original cheese Homemade red sauce or your go to jar with minimal ingredients Handful
of fresh basil Sprinkle
of nutritional yeast Optional: Sprinkle

pasta shells if you'd like but I have nothing to offer those
of you who will ask if this can be dairy free;)
i wanted to make something fast with whatever i had on hand so i just subsitituted a chopped fresh tomato and used small
shell pasta with the rest
of the ingredients you had given.
I make at least one

For those
of you who are curious, I made note
of everything in my freezer: five types
of chili powder; three serrano chile peppers; kaffir lime leaves; white popcorn kernels; cooked chickpeas, mung beans, flageolets, and marrow beans; lots
of Massa brown rice;
pasta sheets; unidentified cookie dough # 1; unidentified cookie dough # 2; cooked posole in one bag, red sauce in another (for this); 2 pounds wild huckleberries; 1 sweet whole wheat pastry tart
shell, round; 1 sweet whole wheat pastry tart
shell, rectangle; 6 small spelt - semolina tart
shells; small bag
of ginger juice; 2 pounds Straus European - style butter; plenty
of this green soup - I puree it and make a tart filling; one pack
of three - grain tempeh; a stack
of frozen rye crepes; cooked farro, pound
of green beans; pack
of expired acai juice; 8 Parmesan rinds, and roughly five pounds
of cherries from my sister's tree.
I served it on top
of small
pasta shells and with No Kneed Bread, which definitely added a rustic sort
of feel to the entire dish!
Today, its offerings include a variety
of pasta products, including ricotta cheese - filled ravioli, manicotti, stuffed
shells, ricotta Cavatelli, tortellini, and potato gnocchi, and lasagna.
Beans and
shells 1 1/4 cups dried white beans (or two 15 - ounce cans
of beans) 2 cloves garlic, peeled and left whole 3 teaspoons salt, plus more to taste One 12 - ounce box jumbo
pasta shells 3/4 -1 cup kale pesto Zest
of 2 lemons Freshly ground black pepper
Using the crepe - like wraps in place
of dried
pasta shells makes this manicotti dinner a great one to serve when entertaining.
Note: If the clams are large, chop half or all
of the clam meat and mix into the
pasta: discard any empty
shells.
It's an American - version
of goulash which is basically a super easy
pasta dish made with macaroni noodles or
shell - shaped
pasta.
To serve, divide the
pasta between 4 plates, top each with a soft
shelled crab and a generous dollop
of pesto.
Stuff each
pasta shell with a generous amount
of the spinach and ricotta mixture, and place in the baking dish.
A pound
of «jumbo»
pasta shells contains about thirty - six.
Add the Banza
shells and half
of the reserved
pasta water to the skillet.
Drain all but a small amount
of water from the pot, toss in the
shelled peas with the hot
pasta, and set aside.

Nothing feels more decadent than giant
shells of pasta filled with creamy mozzarella, Parmesan, and ricotta.
PASTA 3/4 lb linguine
of choice 2 tablespoons olive oil 4 cups small cauliflower florets (from about 1/2 a large head
of cauliflower) 4 - 5 cloves
of garlic, minced pinch
of chili flakes 1/2 teaspoon sweet paprika 1/2 cup slow - roasted tomatoes, lightly chopped or mashed (see headnote for sun - dried option) sea salt and ground black pepper 1/3 cup raw cashews, soaked for at least 4 hours 1/2 cup filtered water 1/2 cup
shelled fresh or frozen peas 2 sprigs fresh basil, sliced 2 green onions, sliced 1 cup quickie vegan parmesan, divided
I added 1/2
of a cooked sweet potato to the sauce (just because I had to it left over from the other day) and used GF
pasta shells.
2 cups dried cranberry beans 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil 1 large red or yellow onion, chopped 1 cup chopped carrots 1 stalk celery, chopped 3 cloves garlic, minced 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper or Aleppo pepper flakes (use the greater amount
of Aleppo) 1/2 cup dry white wine or vermouth 2 teaspoons chopped fresh oregano 1/2 teaspoon finely chopped fresh rosemary 4 cups vegetable stock (recommend Imagine No - Chicken broth here) 4 cups water 1 cup Pomi chopped tomatoes (or BPA - free crushed tomatoes such as Bionaturae or Muir Glen) 1 teaspoon smoked paprika 1 teaspoon sweet Hungarian paprika 1/2 teaspoon salt, or more to taste 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper 2 bunches Swiss chard, stemmed and chopped well 1 1/2 to 2 cups (dry) whole wheat
pasta (such as ditalini or smallish
shells), cooked until al dente
Cook Jumbo
Shells according to package directions; drain, reserving 1/3 cup
of the
pasta cooking water if using fresh spinach.
Pipe the spinach filling into both ends
of each
pasta shell.
This baked
pasta recipe features vibrant flecks
of chopped spinach and lemon zest, toasted almond slices and oozy, bubbly cheese all enveloping sturdy little
pasta shells.
Ingredients 1 box large
pasta shells 1 15oz container part - skim ricotta cheese 1 egg, lightly beaten 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese 1/4 cup shredded Italian Cheese (mix
of Mozzarella and Provolone) Small handful
of fresh basil leaves, chopped 1/2 cup thawed frozen spinach * 1 chicken breast, cooked and shredded / chopped 1/2 tsp salt 1/4 tsp pepper 2 cups marinara sauce, divided 1/2 -3 / 4 cup shredded Italian cheese (mix
of Mozzarella and Provolone) * First squeeze all
of the extra liquid out
of the thawed spinach, then measure.
For dinner, use it in place
of ricotta for lasagne, stuffed
pasta shells, and stuffed eggplant roll - ups.
300 grams kamut spaghetti (or substitute with a similar fresh
pasta of your choice) 1 litre
of unsalted chicken stock 30 grams sea salt 2 tbsp olive oil 1 knob butter 50g pecorino finely grated 50g parmesan finely grated Freshly ground smoked white pepper (if you can't find smoked pepper you can use smoked sea salt to add the smoky flavour) 200 g mussels (weight without
shells) 200 g girolle mushrooms (you could substitute for cepes or chanterelles also) 2 cloves garlic - finely diced 2 tbsp finely diced flat leaf parsley
Using shrimp
shells to make a quick stock adds an insane depth
of flavor to an otherwise simple
pasta.
If I made a list
of my top - ten dishes
of 2011, three would come from Olexy's new big - city spot: braised rabbit with handkerchief
pasta, soft -
shell crab with spicy fennel pickle, and, above all else, golden potato gnocchi with succotash and lemon - brown butter.

of squid - ink
pasta, no other lived up to chef Joe Kindred's miniature
shells.
