Life has been so busy recently that I, unfortunately, had to practice a bit
of slow blogging.
Not exact matches
After a couple
of flops in the kitchen department (yes, I make flops) I finally created something worth
blogging about, Gluten Free Glazed Meyer Lemon Muffins filled with
Slow Roasted Balsamic Red Wine Strawberry Jam.
After a
slow summer, ready to get
blogging more again — including some simple recaps
of good food and wine experiences.
My
slow down in
blogging is entirely because
of this.
I've obviously started
blogging again, but it's been a very
slow, dipping
of my toe in the proverbial water.
I also want to
slow down my outfit posts because I need to gain some control over the negative pressures
of fashion
blogging.

Is your
blogging starting to
slow down now that the season
of giving is over?
So if you're wondering why I've
slowed down a bit on
blogging lately, there are a bunch
of reasons.
I first
blogged about the plight
of slow writers back in 2014, at the height
of the indie publishing boom.
I was a basket case the first few months
of full - time travel
blogging, so I've had to train myself to trust that things will work out when those
slow months inevitably occur.
It's been a little
slow going in terms
of creating consistent content and putting our feelers out there, but I'm hoping with some regular attention in many areas (as you mentioned, social media, guest
blogging, networking with other travel bloggers, etc.) I can help my tiny seedling grow.
I'd love to say that the
slow upload issue was the main problem, but truly, I fell out
of love with
blogging because I was no longer telling the stories that I wanted to tell (or at least not all
of them).
Sorry for the
slow blogging, but with the AGU fun run starting at 6.15 am, and the Awards ending at around ~ 10 pm, and the actual science portion
of the day squeezed in the middle, little time was available on Wednesday for reporting.
