The taste is nuttier than plain

Soaked Porridge
Tuesday: I cooked up some
soaked oatmeal for breakfast, and added to it some cooked apple that was in the fridge, a spoonful
of honey, a sprinkle
of cinnamon and some coconut milk.

With typical models
of high chairs, you're left with straps that you somehow need to scrub and
soak in order to remove traces
of the
oatmeal that came back up and crevices that hold fossilized crumbs

Most
of our family eat
soaked or sprouted
oatmeal several times a week, sprouted or fermented breads at least that often, and
soaked rice several times a week.
I read about a study that says
oatmeal is heart healthy but then the study neither tells what kind
of oats were consumed nor how they were prepared, little things matter sometimes:) Also I could not find an answer if citric acid
soaking which removes phytic acid also removes oat lectins.
Raw dry
oatmeal, dried goji berries, water or nut milk and a touch
of cinnamon
soaked overnight.
(Many
of our senior citizens may remember that in earlier times the instructions on the
oatmeal box called for an overnight
soaking.)
